22.01.2022 WEA Coast and WEA Hunter have made a change! For more than 100 years, WEA has been privileged to share a strong partnership with our community. We have an amazing history as ground breakers when we started offering community education to blue collar workers. This is a fundamental part of our legacy. Now we are so much more. We provide senior secondary education and vocational education to thousands of people annually across more than 6,000 square kilometers of NSW. With so mu...ch more to offer, we needed a new name to unlock our potential. We are delighted to announce that to move us into the next era, WEA Coast will now be known as Atwea College. Atwea College is unified up and down the Hunter and into the mid-north coast, so we are not geographically tied to one place, A new name, for a new start. All services offered under WEA Coast will now be offered under Atwea College. The exception to this will be Alesco Senior College which will maintain it's name and brand as part of the Atwea group.
