23.01.2022 I have recently been asked by several clients if Perth is a good investment opportunity for property. As we can see in this article, although things are recovering, they are still a long way behind in the majority of the capital cities. Looking at the numbers, Sydney is also seeing a slowing, but this is also a market where I have avoided due to the "cost" of remaining in the market if buying now. Having an investment that is still costing you, is not a good strategy in my p...ersonal opinion. Let me know your thoughts... http://www.abc.net.au//perth-property-bust-set-to-/9298106

13.01.2022 As is the case with any investment, you should always know where your money is invested and the potential risks associated with that investment. Unfortunately, many people, when it comes to Super in particular, have no idea where and what their money is invested in, let alone any potential risks. This is why my preference is Self Managed Super, as it provides you with much greater control over your investment, not to mention the risk is easier to identify as it is you who de...cides where the investment is made. 10.01.2022 Many of us plan our budget in order to survive, but do we plan to thrive? The fact is, if we are looking to "cut back" on our expenses merely to survive, then we are probably in more financial trouble than we realise. If you aren't looking at how can we take our current income and use it to make more money, or be more effective with what we have, then your reality is that you will never get ahead. You will be trapped in a mortgage till you retire (if you're lucky enough to p...ay it off by then), you will not have enough super to retire on, and the government will not support you, forcing you to live on the bread line so to speak. Why do we not want to plan a better life for ourselves. Let me help you, with some very simple approaches get you in front and building a better financial life for you and your family.

09.01.2022 As someone who utilises Interest only finance for investing, I am very interested to see how this plays out. I believe Mr Young is absolutely right in that APRA has solved a problem that didn't exist. The investment in real estate has created more financial freedom that almost any other method. It provides the average family and opportunity to build wealth for not just the current generation, but also future generations. I am very perplexed at the short sighted approach here, which will have lasting ramifications on the entire nation in my personal opinion.

07.01.2022 Over the last several months, I have been asked many times about my thoughts on Cryptocurrency. I am by no means an expert, so as is the case with any investing, I always advise to approach with caution and your eyes open. This article gives a pretty good wrap up of what crypto is, so not a bad place to start. Whether we like it or not, it is here. Let me know your thoughts and experiences in cryptocurrency. ... http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au//cryptocurrency-trading-/

04.01.2022 Although Super funds have returned slightly higher than the average property investment, does this mean it is still the best option on overall performance? Based on the data, and what this articles fails to mention, is that the returns now being seen are basically now recovering the losses sustained for many in the GFC. Should we see another similar event, then the returns will surely drop. If you go to the last paragraph, it also shows that returns are only slightly above ...CPI, so this begs the question, is the share market and super funds still your best option? 04.01.2022 Fear comes from the unknown, but so does knowledge. Everything you know now, you didn’t know at some point. Fearing the unknown also stops you from learning and growing.
