25.01.2022 The power of Forgiveness! Or not... When I was young I thought that forgiving someone had something to do with sin (religion) or to forgive someone was a sign of weakness. What's that saying "Forgive and forget"... Do you really forget? What does it really mean to forgive? The dictionary states: Forgiveness is defined as letting go of past grudges or lingering anger against a person or persons. It is my experience that to forgive someone for having wronged you (according to you of course) Can be quite a release and freeing. It sometimes has the power to unburden you. Then there is the failure to forgive.. Where does that take us? Down the path of resentment? Over time I have personally seen people become ill because of their inability or stubbornness to forgive others and move on. My question to you today is: Do you forgive? 18.01.2022 Have you noticed the difference between having a Job mindset and an entrepreneurial mindset? Factors like fear, feeling unworthy, lack of confidence, and being out of your comfort zone all come into play when you are faced with the decision to cross that bridge and become an Entrepreneur. What I have found is that this quite often stops people from moving forward to being the CEO of their own business. That then leads to frustration and a lot of negative self-talk. This then ...leads to asking friends and family for advice and what they should do... Usually, these friends and family have no idea about what being an Entrepreneur means and would prefer you to stay as you are. Then before you know it you are down the slippery slope not knowing what action to take and surrounded with ill-informed advice. The end result is most people stay quietly in their comfort zone hating their job and waiting to retire. It doesn't have to be that way, change is not always uncomfortable. It can be an exciting adventure filled with learning and personal growth.
