16.01.2022 A client recently asked me if I could draw portraits from photos. The answer is yes! This is an example of a self portrait done from a favourite pic in 2015. It was a great day at the races with a girlfriend in NSW at the Kembla Grange ladies race day. ... This is a shot she took on her phone. One of my favourites as it was such a fun day at a country race meet. Contact me if you want a memory created in pencil or other medium.

05.01.2022 ' Preened' and preening is the theme of this week's window display at Studio 59 Orr St Queenstown. The painting in the window is one of mine and for sale unframed on hard card. Getting Preened for the festive, end of year and party season as we say farewell to 2020.

02.01.2022 Due to public request I am running a 'learn basic Macrame' course in January. The end product will be a Macrame pot hanger. Materials supplied Max 6 persons Aged 12 to 112...... Under 15 must be joined by a paying adult as well. To be starting mid January. Cost per participant is $60 instruction and materials. 4 x 1.5 hr sessions in Queenstown studio.
