22.01.2022 Featured is a very clean and minimal website design for Katrina Read Gallery. The idea was to use neutral colours for the background elements to draw more attention to her artworks. The 3 feature boxes displayed on the homepage act as quick links to parts of the website. They also have some very subtle hover animations to add that little bit of extra flair.

19.01.2022 Starting our day off right. "On Purpose." If I can give you one tip as a business owner about managing a busy work schedule it's: PLAN PLAN PLAN. Start your day off knowing what you need to achieve and action that first. Anything else that comes along throughout the day, make sure you give yourself and your clients a realistic timeframe for service turnaround and allow yourself enough time to rest.... Burning yourself out is no good for the client, the business or for yourself personally. So do what you need to without putting too much pressure on yourself with unrealistic expectations. From personal experience, a client is more likely to understand that great works take a little bit longer rather than receive a service that is less than your best because you were strapped for time! The purpose of the site is to provide information about the company, it's current projects and take expressions of interest from anyone interested in purchasing their house and land packages. The objective was to deliver a clean and minimal site to fit in with their current branding and I feel like we hit the nail on the head.

06.01.2022 As the new year approaches, we are lucky enough to find ourselves in a position where we are able to start looking for ACTUAL OFFICE SPACE! OMG I cannot believe it! As nice as it has been to be able to work from home while we raise our little Maple, I will be equally if not even more excited to have all of our equipment moved out of our home and reclaim the spaces we have been using to hold equipment, computers and endless rolls of media... & stock that have taken over our home!
