22.01.2022 Today has been hard. Not only personally but as a nation. I watched many stories of people who are shutting down their businesses and their dreams. People walking away from some of the most secure jobs that they would not have considered being at risk at the beginning of the year. We are facing unprecedented times that are filled with uncertainty and worry as we now approach uncharted waters, we can not say what is going to happen. What we can tell you is that we will be her...e for you. We understand that times are tough and they are changing. We will adapt and change with it. At the moment we have one psychologist offering telephone sessions, one offering video conferencing and two still seeing clients face to face for as long as we can. Financially times are going to be tough for some and job losses are very real prospect in Australia. We understand this and are making allowances to ensure that everyone still has access to our services, please ensure that you do let us know, many of our phone services are currently able to be bulk-billed straight to medicare. Our thoughts are with our community. It is at this time that we ask everyone to be nice to each-other. We do not know what someone else is going through. As a community we are facing one of the greatest uncertainties of our time with information changing daily. Technology and knowledge has put us in the best position to be able to deal with this, allowing greater services that would otherwise be restricted to be available. ...We would like to assure you that as more services shut down Humanique will continue to be here to support our community, even if it is not in the tradional face to face method. Our team has spent the week exploring how to best delivery our services whilst keeping our team, clients, and community as safe as possible. It might happen that this will be around the same time as one of your appointments with one of our psychologists. Our team at Humanique is small and like the rest of the world we are vulnerable to these nasty germs. We would super appreciate it when you dont share your germs!... A few general rules/ requests: please call or text and reschedule if you have: * Been vomiting or have had diarrhoea in the last 48 hours * Have had cold in the last 7 days. * Have a fever * Have any contagious disease or virus * Have had to take time off work for a possibly contagious illness in the last 7 days. If you do present for your appointment and you are unwell unfortunately our psychologists will not be able to see you and will ask you to reschedule your apportionment. Please do notify us prior to your appointment if you have travelled overseas in the last month.
