After the release of his Matrix EP last year on Paraguay’s MAL Records, we had to get the rising producer on board for a Novelcast. Across 60 minutes he delivers an interstellar journey into cosmic disco, nu-wave, spectral guitars and other inspiring frequencies.

17.01.2022 Novelcast 61: T-N http://bit.ly/novelcast61 Tanya Akinola aka T-N is an emerging DJ who got her start in London, playing a hybrid blend of frenetic electro and melodic techno on local radio stations from Threads to Rinse FM and venues including Corsica Studios and Five Miles. Outside of DJing, Tanya is a freelance music journalist who has been published on Resident Advisor, Dazed, DJ Mag, Boiler Room, gal-dem and more. She also works with Black Bandcamp and Lobster Distribution. She's currently based in Naarm (Melbourne) and hosts After Hours Mutations on Triple R.

Hailing from Ballarat and now based in Melbourne, the producer/DJ is a bona fide studio head crafting electronic music soaked in hard-hitting electro elements, classic house motif's and warm, ethereal ambient soundscapes. When he's not DJing or performing live club sets on his extensive hardware collection, he looks after the daily operations of the very much favoured Potatoheadz Records imprint. It's a label releasing the kind of music that will be considered timeless in the not-too-distant future. Sit back and enjoy the sci-fi world of Sedgwick.

09.01.2022 Novelcast 60: Lava Brain http://bit.ly/novelcast60 Originally from Sydney, Lava Brain is a new creative project encompassing production and live visuals from now Melbourne-based Eric Fenessy. His music veers towards a cerebral aesthetic filled with deep, spacious and percussive sounds intend to make you move, feel or reflect - sometimes all at the same time. His recent self-released first single, ‘Tripping Point’ is a highly reflective single filled with cathartic energy. With much more music in the works, Lava Brain is on his way to becoming a name synonymous with compelling music.
