21.01.2022 Well said, David Koch. Port Adelaide's Prison Bar guernsey was the highest selling guernsey across the 2020 season with stock completely sold out well before the season ended. Momentum continues to build for Port Adelaide to be allowed to wear its Prison Bars guernsey in Showdowns. Over to you, AFL. ... Sign and share the petition: https://bit.ly/3p3GdiM

18.01.2022 FIVE YEAR GRAND VISION: Winning premierships, having over 100,000 members, a redeveloped Alberton Oval precinct and being debt free. That's the bold five-year strategic vision which was unveiled to members by CEO Matthew Richardson at Port Adelaide's AGM last night. Richardson said the club had a vision to build an era of unprecedented success at Port Adelaide. The reality is in the AFL-era we have not achieved greatness, he said.... We have the opportunity now to strike but it just doesn’t happen. Our mission, the mission at Port Adelaide is simple and it always has been, it’s our purpose and it’s what our club has been built on it is to win premierships and it’s the measure of success. What does greatness look like? It’s about winning premierships but not just one... Greatness is winning multiple premierships. Port Adelaide is a big club with a big club mentality it’s why the AFL desperately wanted Port Adelaide in the competition in 1990, Full article: https://bit.ly/2Z7p1OV

12.01.2022 Pressure is mounting on Gillon McLachlan and the AFL to allow Port Adelaide to wear the traditional Prison Bar guernsey in at least every home Showdown. - It’s not like we’re playing Collingwood when we’re wearing it, It’s a meaningful guernsey, not only for the players, but all the fans that have supported the club over the 150 years.... It signifies more than the colours on the guernsey, so hopefully we get to wear it. - I’m sure someone will step up and complain about the prison bars (after Eddie McGuire's departure), but we have our right to play in it, It is about heritage and Collingwood is all about heritage, so they should understand. - You walk a little bit taller wearing the prison bars, just knowing the great players and the tough players and resilient players who have gone before you wearing the same colours. 09.01.2022 A bulked-up Connor Rozee booted 6 goals in today's internal trial match. Rozee has been battling a foot injury ever since he tore part of his right plantar fascia in last year's round 7 victory against Carlton. The injury caused Rozee to miss 3 games, while he needed up to 4 pain-killing injections before some matches last year. 'Rozee told The Advertiser the latest time off had helped and after a couple of weeks back on the track, he was flying and the injury had pretty ...much fully healed. It caused a few issues before Christmas with some tendons, just because I’ve been managing it, which of course leads to load in other parts of your foot that usually don’t get that sort of load. I had to have a few weeks off. But the last couple of weeks I’ve slowly built back and been pretty much 100 per cent. It’s probably felt as good as it’s felt since I’ve injured it. I should be right now for the rest of the season.' Full article: https://bit.ly/3qhsjLr Match report: https://bit.ly/3dd7NYu
