24.01.2022 I had a really good chat yesterday during a private coaching session. The client is 50+ and things his days are over with coaching So so wrong. 50+ is the kind of wisdom people right now are willing to invest in BIG.... And here is the question for you if you are in that age bracket or any age as a matter of fact. How can you use your professional education and personal experiences and turn them into an automated program that gets clients results and an online business that makes bank? (without an email list, social media followers and a website) While we’re at it, let’s skip over the things that aren’t necessary to get you clients-- Cheap 1-off 60 or 90-minute sessions Low priced/short ebooks or courses Spending any time or resources on a website Blogging, podcasting, posting, networking #stopdoingallthethings ALL you need is YOUR STORY, A WHO & A WHAT Think back to the reason you decided to choose this as your career, what motivated you? YOUR STORY: Your professional education, personal experiences and perspective ARE what sets you apart, even if you have trouble seeing that right now. WHO: Who are the people you most want to work with? WHAT: The urgent problem they want solving? When you build your brand and program around these 3 things -- YOUR STORY, WHO & WHAT you instantly step out as the expert and differentiate yourself (even in a crowded niche). But HOW to do this is where you might be stuck?
19.01.2022 This is something a lot of people get wrong. I used to get it wrong for a long time..... The good news is, once you understand this. (And more importantly, fix it.) Your results will change. ... Before you start advertising your business, you need to make sure you’re focusing on the right goal. Most businesses have this backwards. So, what is the ‘right goal’? "Obviously to get customers, right?" Wrong. Not convinced? Let me explain. Let’s say you’re about to launch an ad. Is the goal of that ad to get a customer? No. In fact, if you create an ad with that goal in mind.. (Eg. "Click here to buy this now") It is almost certainly going to fail. So, what should the goal of that ad be? Two things: To qualify your ideal prospect. To get that prospect to click on the ad. That’s it. (Stay with me here) After that prospect clicks your ad, they will arrive at a page What is the goal of that page? Well, this depends... Let’s say you’re selling a service, but before someone can sign up as a client you want them to book a call with you. Is the goal of that page to sell your service? No. The goal of that page is to sell the call. Making sense? Let’s say you’re writing an email. The goal of your email headline is not to sell your product... Eg. "Buy this now it’s 50% off" ..The goal is to get that prospect to open that email. Eg. "You won’t believe what just happened..." If you own a gym and you’re offering a 7 Day Free Trial The goal of your sales video is not to sell the gym... ..It’s to sell the 7 day trail. Every step within your marketing system should be focused & optimised for getting prospects to take that next step. Most businesses focus only on the final step, and that’s why they don’t see results. If you can get a prospect to take enough steps, they will become a customer. But, if you’re optimizing for the wrong goal at the wrong time... The system fails. Take a look at your marketing and ask yourself: "What is the immediate next step I’m trying to get prospects to take?" And then: "Is this step currently optimised for that goal? OR is it focused on something 2-5 steps down the line?" Once you get this I guarantee your campaigns will become far more effective. So, what are your next steps? See more

11.01.2022 I'm going to let you in on a little secret... The way to earn more money and grow your business is to stop talking about deliverables and start talking about outcomes. By focusing on outcomes, you position yourself as a business consultant. Now, you might be thinking "But I'm a just Facebook marketer or a website designer or an SEO expert! ... What do I know about business consulting!?" Well, the key to business consulting is to have conversations about business needs. One of the ways to do this is to run a Discovery Sessions with your clients. In a discovery session, your job is to guide your prospect / client to understand the business goals behind their projects. To do this, you need to dig deep and ask questions that may be a little awkward. But once you do, you can: * Get your foot in the door because the session is something of value - not just a sales call or meeting * Stop giving away your advice and time for free only for them to go elsewhere or try to do it themselves * Be seen as the expert, someone who understands them, their business and their goals. Therefore, a partner in the process and much more likely to choose you for the project - the person they now trust. Charge a small fee for the strategy call, when people pay for something they will take notice and make an effort to show up. Often when you offer advice for free people won't show up. So remember ONE thing: Stop underselling yourself!!
