07.01.2022 ON THE MOVE // So you may or may not have noticed that I’ve been missing in action for the past 10 days or so. We were actually back up in the Northern Rivers of NSW to do the huge job of packing up and moving our #tinyhouseonwheels ~ yes I’m THAT travel obsessed, that 5 years ago, we designed and built a mini moveable house which has been our family home since then. It has even been moved across the entire width of #Australia ! Our tiny house on wheels completely supports ou...r lifestyle, so that we never feel tied to one exact location... moreso that we have a travelling nest, that comes with us on our never-ending journey :) But I am now back in #manly #Sydney and will be back onto catching up on social media as well as being back in my tiny shop, which I have missed dearly these past two weeks :) I have also missed the past two weeks of my Guess Where Wednesday giveaways (which I know some of you noticed!) and I’m so sorry for dropping the ball on this one. 01.01.2022 Does anyone else feel like they’re living a weird double life at the moment? I mean, I literally am. I’m currently spending half my weeks in Manly on my own at the tiny shop, and the other half camping with my family near Byron Bay. First half = solopreneur, business owner, website-building, digital-marketing course-taking, numbers and sales person, workaholic.... Second half = scruffy trackie-wearing, unwashed-for-days (aside from the sea) 24/7 mumma waking up at 5am with babies climbing on me and chickens and donkeys going crazy outside the tent. Not sure which one I prefer! Both require such different parts of me and it takes at least a day or so to transition back into the other part of me that’s needed. I think overall this very accurately represents how I feel at the moment. One half of me is so stressed, so busy, never finishing to do lists, feeling pulled in opposite directions, so much to do and not enough time, feeling trapped, body aching, unhealthy, and unable to relax. But then the other part of me feels calm, positive, optimistic about the future, excitedly planning travel and next years dreams, loved, fulfilled, hopeful, happy, appreciative, open to the universe, and a bit like a giddy child on Christmas Eve. It’s safe to say 2020 has been one wild ride for most of us I feel.
