"My passion is working with children and families," says Marie. "You deserve to have a job that fulfils you, taps into your passions and for the most part brings you joy. 15.01.2022 Meet Tom - the ‘adopted granddad’ A volunteer for over three years, Tom is a mentor for our Nambucca valley 120 Countdown program. 120 Countdown is a free program connecting learner drivers with volunteer mentors to complete the 120 hours of driving practice, which is needed before they can go for their P plates. Phoebe, Tom's student said: "Tom’s helped me with more than just being a confident and capable driver. He’s been a person in my life where I can go to for advice.... He is even my adopted granddad for my little girl. He’s always there for me and gives great tips to help me out with my daughter." A huge shoutout to Tom for being so inclusive and helpful to all

14.01.2022 Connected through art The Art while we're apart exhibition is a collection of our residents and clients creative inspiration during isolation. Launched in May, the competition emerged in response to the physical distancing restrictions brought on by COVID-19. Close to 500 artworks were entered by almost 250 residents and clients across 6 categories. Thank you to our entrants for creating such joy, promise and inspiration through their art. The 114-place aged care home is designed for connecting people across generations, families, and cultures in the local community. It features a café, salon, chapel, healthcare consulting rooms and a gym especially for seniors in the village hub. A new early learning centre will be opening in January 2021.
