23.01.2022 This heritage Queensberry Street Terrace renovation is complete! The existing Grade B listed terrace has been preserved, retaining the shop space at street level with a revised entry sequence that also enables a live / work outcome on site. Careful re-planning of the interior has achieved a three bedroom dwelling with original features retained, together with improved outlook and amenity. Living and dining have been transformed into a voluminous split level space, while the kitchen opens up and merges with the terrace.

20.01.2022 We are proud to announce that Urban Creative Studio has been shortlisted as part of The Future Homes Competition! Run by DELWP and OVGA, the Competition is seeking proposals for apartment designs within a suburban context to address the challenges of population growth, sustainability, and affordability while fostering a sense community and being good neighbours within their context. Our proposal is about making our cities better places to live. To facilitate an enriching and... adaptive way of living which is inherently urban but which also connects us to the natural and to each other. It is about embracing diversity, delivering housing affordability, and doing so in a sustainable and regenerative way. 07.01.2022 Shrink-Wrap House is complete! This little gem, tucked behind a dwelling in West Preston, manages to squeeze a lot of life into a tiny space. The concept this dual occupancy site is a positive take on small scale urban intensification in suburban Melbourne. This project celebrates sustainable living and the notion of 20-minute neighbourhoods.

04.01.2022 Here's a project from our vault - Located in South Melbourne, 'Artisan' seeks to be a benchmark or harnessing the relationships between living, working, and social spaces - an engine room for driving diversity and regeneration that is inherently urban, but which also connects us to the natural and to each other. Not only does this project look to create an exciting co-operative work space, but also to be a catalyst for the wider growth of creative industries within the precinct.

The proposed 3-bedroom dwelling has a central courtyard acting as a focal point around which living spaces and family life revolve.
