22.01.2022 A simple and fun workshop for kids @chocolate2chilli_cafe today. Watercolour mermaid scales and place cards all decorated beautifully by today’s 4 artists. I love the freedom it gives the kids when we share a few simple techniques. It’s so inspiring

13.01.2022 I did it, never thought I would but since I was a little girl, I’ve wanted to be a Painter.. so when you fall in love with someone with the surname Paynter.. it seems I’ve manifested my dream in many ways! So on our trip to Melbourne our #airbnb was opposite @greystreettattoo and when Jayme popped the question it seemed like the obvious thing..! A paint pot is symbolic for me with a little story from my childhood. When ever things are a bit tough I’m reminded its probably a ‘tin of paint moment’ which means it will pass (and I’m easily distracted by anything paint)

13.01.2022 Last night I had the privilege of hosting a Christmas watercolour Staff party for the beautiful ladies @cloudnineweddings I feel my style of teaching suits such occasions as I simply give the tools and facilitate the freedom to paint your way. There was so much talent in the room. It was an incredible evening with devine catering from @chocolate2chilli. It couldn’t have been better!

After the day I wished to gift her a beautiful lasting gift after the bouquets short life.. this idea stuck in my mind, until now. launching #paintedmemories so that all brides can keep that moment, captured in watercolour forever

Hurry as I hear the pre-orders we’re out the door! I’m so so happy with the label & it was an absolute dream working with Tasha & Colin. When it comes to design it comes down to communication. I can not fault them.. this was a dream job!

08.01.2022 Kookaburra (not quite finished) These beautiful birds are a symbol of this beautiful country. They are regal, wise and a treat for the ears when you hear their majestic laughter. He was such a pleasure to paint. And I know there are lots of bird lovers out there who will agree, these wonderful creatures are divine.

03.01.2022 When you’re asked to illustrate a gin bottle with an Ethereal style, brambles, and bee, flora and foliage found in the hedgerows of Dartmoor and you try very hard not to break into outrageous, eccentric happy dance. Don’t try just do it! This was my absolute dream job and I cannot wait to see these babies on the shelves. The extreme talents of the team at @groundupcookery have invented the Gin of this century!

02.01.2022 Happy New Year Everyone! It’s been lovely having a little break over the festive Season but I can’t say I’ve completely put my feet up.. I’ve got some seriously exciting stuff coming up this year. Trying to maintain swan like elegance above water whilst below the surface my legs are going like frantic turbines. Also whilst reading many books on maintaining calm and limiting stress.. I can safely say 2020 is going to be a productive year of Epic proportions. Welcoming in simplification and letting go of manic. I still give you permission to remind me to breathe when you see me ;) #thankyou for all your love and support.
