05.01.2022 Just found out a friend of mine paid 7k for a wix website... A wix... Yes wix.. Which is basically a template design that was 4 pages that doesn't even work properly.... A lot of things not aligned... clearly no designer built this website, it has very little attention to detail and no understanding of alignment, spacing, centering and the basic concepts of design. All stock photos even in the footer it says it was made with wix.. crazy there are people out there ripping people off like that. And be as lazy as this. Ive offered to make him a new one for 350, significantly less cost and significantly better website since he's a friend. Beware of very bad "web designers" out there offering terrible solutions. The offline equivilant would be to get your house built by someone who cant lay bricks. Everyone thinks they are a "web designer" today, and everyone thinks it costs thousand's for a basic solution. Because of people's naivety this is what is happening and there is noone willing to call them out, so here it is.
