23.01.2022 Today would normally be market day here at camp, our annual fundraiser, but it has been cancelled due to COVID-19... as we have no work at the moment, we are asking that you consider donating the money you would have spent at market day instead of coming. You can do this through direct deposit or our GoFundMe page (link in bio or previous posts). We also still have boxes of croquettes for sale. 20.01.2022 A weekend of developing social skills, strengthening daily life skills and respite, everyone had a blast learning how to set up their own tents, cook all their own food over the fire & engaging in social activities such as Laser Skirmish, Archery, having a go on the Flying Fox and even a (long!) good old game of Monopoly! Throughout this camp of friendship , laughter and sharing the word of God , I now call this youth my family and Im ...so grateful that I got to experience every moment of it ! My prayers go out to each and every one of you and I love you all. To the person reading this now , yes .. you !! Never be too distant from God , no matter what you do God is always with you , he is our provider and our protector . I just want to tell you that God has something big in-stored for you ! I dont know what situations and struggles you may go through but youre never alone !! God is always with you and he loves you ! Im always here if anyone needs to talk ! But I pray that God may Bless each and every one of you and continue to give you the strength to keep grinding day in and day out to become the most successful person that you can be ! 15.01.2022 We are excited to have a small camp back!! Lots of sanitiser, lots of hand washing, lots of physical distancing, but most importantly, lots of fun!

15.01.2022 We are so excited to announce that the first stage of building our new additional hall is underway! So far, we will soon have the slab, the foundation of the building, however, we would LOVE if you have the opportunity to partner with us financially so that we may continue to build this hall past the first stages. 14.01.2022 Market Day may be cancelled for 2020, but Croquettes can still be on the menu!! As you may have heard, Market Day 2020 has sadly been cancelled and therefore our annual fundraiser is not able to go ahead, however, we are excited to still be able to make boxes of croquettes ($25 per box of 10) if people are interested We are asking for an expression of interest (by email or phone) by the 19th April 2020 to see if we get enough numbers to make it worthwhile. We would aim to ha...ve them ready for pickup by the 24th of April, so you can still eat them on ANZAC Day in celebration of Market Day if you like. They would be available for pickup from the campsite, or if there is a large order from a particular area, we can organise a bulk pick up or we could even deliver them for a fee. 14.01.2022 We invited Dr Mike Freelander and Greg Warren, two local politicians to visit our campsite after our fantastic boss Andrew Vanderschoor won the Fishers Ghost Art Award & both Warren and Freelander sent a congratulatory letter. We got the opportunity to speak to them about our environmental education programs and mission programs over coffee & Kaths delicious scones. 11.01.2022 As you would be aware, COVID-19 has devastated the tourism and excursion industry. On Monday 16th March 2020, we received a number of phone calls from schools cancelling their camps after the NSW Department of Education handed down their decision about no more excursions. With one decision from the government, we lost our ability to run programs. Youth groups and churches also followed suit and at this point in time, Wedderburn Christian Campsite has lost all our work, over $200,000 worth, between now and the end of April. We are expecting the virus to hold excursions off longer than this and need to plan for this time. 05.01.2022 Snippets of this weeks Summer Adventure Camp! Weve had an absolute ball making friends, being creative, being pushed out of our comfort zones on the Giant Swing, zooming through the trees on the Flying Fox & our discussion times have been so great too. Everyone is keen for another two more days of action packed fun! Watch this space for more smiling faces!

04.01.2022 Newest Wedderburn Christian Campsite happenings: We have partnered with Symbio Wildlife Park and provided a place to plant 200 trees so that the leaves can be harvested for the koalas at Symbio! We thank our friend Big Russ the koala for kindly sharing his resources!
