15.01.2022 In order to get prepared for the season, those that have a current working with children’s check can you please add Weddeburn Redbacks Inc - PO Box 127 Wedderburn to your volunteer contact lists. This will ensure that all netball, football and hockey volunteers are up to date.

12.01.2022 Minkey & U12 Training Training will commence tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3:45-4:45 on the top courts at school!! Carolyn has some great helpers this season to help advance our junior player development, so we encourage all current and interested Minkey and U/12 players to come along!

New age groups for junior players as decided at league meeting Monday. Under 15 with a ratio and Under 12, both full field and depending on the day can play9 aside. ... 05.01.2022 This season the Wedderburn Redbacks are offering you the chance to own your own team within the team. Every one of Wedderburn’s senior football, netball & hockey players has been placed into one of 21 teams. On Saturday April 14, after the club’s first round match against St Arnaud, we will be auctioning off each of those 21 teams. This will be a family-friendly event with a casual meal and drinks available.... Becoming a team owner means each time one of your side wins a ‘Best on Ground’ (BOG) award in their match, you win cash. The amount of cash you’ll win back per BOG will be calculated as a percentage of the money spent on auction night. To get some idea of what that might mean Each team has at least six players, and there are seven senior games per round: two football, three netball & two hockey matches. There are 16 rounds in season 2018, which means that your team has at least 112 chances throughout the season to win a BOG. The more money spent, the more you stand to win! So get together a syndicate, study the team lists, and get down to Donaldson Park after round 1. #wedderburn #wedderburnredbacks #loddonvalley #calcutta

05.01.2022 Tonight history has been made! The Wedderburn Hockey, Football and Netball clubs have voted to Amalgamate and become the Wedderburn Redbacks Inc. We would like to thank our outgoing executive committee of Carlie, Suzanne, Carolyn and Cass for their work with our club. We would like to take the time to thank Carlie for her service to our club as President for 12+ Years.... This is not the end, but the start of an exciting new chapter! As always, Let’s Go Redbacks!

02.01.2022 The Wedderburn Redbacks are a local junior and senior sporting body consisting of three codes - football, netball and hockey. The 2018 Produce Auction is one of the Redbacks major fundraisers for the year and will assist in raising much needed funds to run our community club successfully. Auction items include (but aren't limited to) firewood, grain, hay mulch, garden fertilizer, and local produce - fruit, vegetables, honey, wine and jams.... Refreshments and a barbeque will be available on the day. All welcome. Terms and conditions: number system to operate, conditions and radius limits apply to some lots. Strictly cash on the day.
