15.01.2022 If you’re set on having a band play your #weddingdance song live, ask for a recording of exactly how the band will play it on the day. That way there will be no surprises on the day. If the song is more than 3 minutes long, have a chat to see if they can remove a chorus or verse, cut down the intro or outro. #dancing for 2 - 3 minutes for your #firstdance is a decent amount of time for both you the couple, and the guests. You’ll most likely have the band playing all night ...long so they’ll get full sets and full songs Even better is if you can do a rehearsal with the band There really is something quite magical, #dancing to #livemusic but it’s also nerve racking dancing in front of people for the first time.
