24.01.2022 Yesterday was wedding #4 in 4 days, with one more to go today to round out the 5 in 5 It was finally Chelsea & Lachlan's turn yesterday to say "I do" with David Schneider from Professional Ceremonies conducting another of his award winning ceremonies. Like many couples, C&L have had to postpone their wedding no less than 4 times during COVID. But yesterday they celebrated at Avalon Castle just like so many couples have done so far this year. Cheslea handled the 6m veil!! ...and custom made, 8+ layer dress with surprising ease, with help from a very attentive bridal party. With makeup and hair by Magical Makeovers, Chelsea looked every bit the Princess. That didn't stop her surprise "Cake Attack" on an unsuspecting Lachlan though. Which in a still shot, looks like an old-fashioned WWF slap down It has been a while, but it was great working with Zed & Ben from Cutting Edge Video Productions who were on hand to capture everything with perfect sound quality, HD video and drone footage. Which even after months & months of no weddings, still looked as perfect as ever....with a few little surprises thrown in, that the dedicated staff had been working on over the lockdown period. 20.01.2022 It's a perk of being a #weddingphotographer that gives me the opportunity to capture and in some way be a part of a couple's special day. Somewhere around 450 so far....I've lost count. But witnessing the determination and courage shown by Cassandra & Ange today was beyond words. Nothing has been easy for these 2 with parents passing away recently, COVID lockdowns and delays, and Ange's cancer becoming more aggressive, it was a race against the clock. 16.01.2022 Congratulations Lorna Claire Murphy & Phil on your perfect wedding day yesterday at the multi-award winning, Avalon Castle. With close family & friends in attendance, it was unfortunate that Lorna's family from the UK couldn't attend. Although unfortunate, it couldn't dampen the fun, laughter and awesome time had by all. John Francis - Marriage Celebrant , who is one a few highly rated and preferred Celebrants of Avalon Castle, conducted a fun, light-hearted and laughter fi...lled ceremony which suited the couple perfectly. It was also a pleasure working with Sierra Jane who performed the DJ & MC duties, ensuring everything ran on time. A special thanks also to Heather from Heather Felix Photography who was on hand to assist throughout the day. Hopefully more to come on this in the near future......

A Mini Wedding at Avalon Castle may be mini on price, but it is BIG on value :) With the Mini Wedding "A-Team" Weddings by Jay Allen - Marriage Celebrant + Wedding DJ/MC, Wedding Sounds by JLN, Cakes by Buds n Roses and of course yours truely, on board yesterday, the weather couldn't dampen the fun & laughter and ensured everyone had a great night. ... All the suppliers went that little extra mile, above & beyond, to ensure this awesome couple had a day to remember :)

04.01.2022 What a day it was yesterday at Chateau Wyuna Receptions ....It took Fleur & Clare a little longer (due to restrictions earlier in the year) to finally and officially say "I do", but nothing was going to stop them this time. Not even the weather. Inevitably, the heavens opened and there was a quick dash from the pergola to the chapel where David Schneider from Professional Ceremonies got them over the line. David also had the pleasure of performing their Commitment Ceremony some years ago. This time it was official!! Thanks also to Swans on Doongalla Horse Drawn Carriages for their beautiful horses and awesome service and professionalism. Also to Hummer Limousines - 1800Hummer for some skilful driving getting the behemoth of a Hummer into the venue.
