21.01.2022 G'day guys, I cant get over the amount of people complaining on social media platforms about how busy its going to be in the High Country for the long weekend.... This is one weekend we need to think of everyone, and not just ourself here. We have all been locked away from our outdoors / camping passion for months, and not just with Covid. The High Country was locked up for months prior to that due to the worst bushfires this country has even seen. But, you know who else is going to benefit massively from us going camping again. Thats the small towns and businesses that are severely struggling financially. I see it as a massive positive, not only for our own mental health, but for the businesses in those small country communities. I was down on Port Phillip Bay last week, and just to see a boat on the water again was fantastic to see. So, yeah its going to be busy, but we can still work with what we have for the long weekend, and still have a great weekend.
