24.01.2022 I had the pleasure of conducting a naming ceremony at my home last weekend for my sweet little granddaughter. She has now been welcomed warmly for the great joy she has brought to many hearts in her new and extended family. The many friends who also joined with us to celebrate her arrival added a wonderful feeling of community as they were invited to extend their hearts to become her community. The ceremony concluding with the creation of a big endless circle of support and ...love on our heart labyrinth that surrounded the new circle of love this very precious infant has created with her mum and dad. It was a really joyful and memorable occasion that I will treasure with the many other beautiful ceremonies I have had the privilege of being asked to be the celebrant for. I am available to conduct naming ceremonies and will help you ensure it is an occasion that will be fitting and memorable for your family. 24.01.2022 I wanted to let everyone know my website is up and running again www.weddingcelebrantillawarra.com.au I’m always happy to chat and discuss what you want or even what types of different ceremonies you could have if your not yet sure whether you want a relaxed or more formal ceremony. Perhaps you want one that has a bit of quirkiness or humour in it. Maybe you want one that is all about heartfelt sentiment and commitment. I am very flexible and easy to work with, but regardle...ss I’m happy to give you time and choices to create a personalised ceremony. I love being a celebrant, it is such a privilege to be able to share a couple’s special day and help make it memorable.

23.01.2022 It's now official! Same sex couples can notify of their intention to marry from 9 December 2017. From 9 December 2017, marriage in Australia will be redefined as ‘the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life’. The right to marry under Australian law will no longer be determined by sex or gender.... It will be legal for same-sex couples to marry in Australia. The usual requirements around giving a Notice of Intended Marriage continue to apply; the NOIM must be given at least one month prior to the wedding ceremony, unless a shortening of time has been obtained from a prescribed authority. The earliest a samesex couple can give a notice is 9 December 2017. I am available to conduct wedding ceremonies for same sex couples.
