21.01.2022 To hire or not to hire a suit If your thinking of hiring a suit for your up coming wedding, school formal or any special event ,we have a better option for you.... To hire a suit your first challenge for you is you search the internet for suit hire companies and find a price. Not as easy as it sounds .Hire companies have a habit of quoting an indicative price,which will invariably be the lowest quality item they have and telling you to find more pricing information in store. Also if for a wedding you would like a matching suit for the pageboy/junior groomsmen hire companies generally wont have matching suits. QUALITY Hire suits are made for durability,often at expense of comfort and to an extent appearance, they are also made to fit most shapes and to last a long time. What this means is that they are of heavier duty wool suit. FIT The fit of the suit are a classic fit for all shapes therefore most hire places dont have slim fit suits. Minor alterations are also done to the suit generally only the length of sleeves or trouser legs. The shirt that is usually hired with the suit is usually either white or ivory, so not much of of choice. CONVENIENCE Hire suits bring with them a tight schedule Theres the pick up day which is usually 1-2 days before the weddingevent. What happens if the boys sizes have changed since the fitting this could make it too late to do alterations to the suits.Then theres the return of the suits which most likely be the next business day after your wedding/event and hope there has been no damage to the suits You may even have to get someone else to take them back for you. VALUE Unlike the brides they cant wear their dresses after the wedding but the guys suits can be worn again, this could be for a job interview, the races or any other formal event. A groom can get years of use with his suit unlike the wedding dress.If you think about it ,it is financially beneficial to buy a suit than to hire . You can dress your suit down for a casual smart look by wearing the jacket with jeans.
