25.01.2022 An Invitation for Members of the Society and Wedgwood Collectors It is with great pleasure that I can announce that The Wedgwood Society of NSW’s next meeting is scheduled for 2pm, Sunday 14th of February 2021 at Brush Farm House. This is our first meeting since February last year due to Covid. We will be operating under Covid Safe Guidelines and ask that people wear a mask as many of our members are in high risk categories. ... Please let us know if you are wishing to attend as numbers are strictly limited. The present limit is 22. It is hoped that this will change to allow for 44 people to attend.

22.01.2022 Part of the stunning collection of Wedgwood at the V&A.

22.01.2022 It is with sadness that we advise our next meeting scheduled for 19th April has been canceled. Like many organizations we are following the advice of health professionals regarding social distancing and preventing the spread of coronavirus. It’s just not possible at this time for us to meet and ensure the safety of our members. This situation is fluid and a decision as to whether our June meeting can go ahead will be made closer to the date. ... In the meantime I would recommend following some of the Wedgwood collecting pages online as a welcome distraction.

22.01.2022 It is with sadness that we advise our next meeting scheduled for 16 August has been canceled. Like many organizations we are following the advice of health professionals regarding social distancing and preventing the spread of coronavirus. It’s just not possible at this time for us to meet and ensure the safety of our members. One of the interesting side effects of less socialising and more mask wearing is the dramatic drop in make up sales. ... Please find below a picture of my Statton Wedgwood Compact which I am happy to own even if it is no longer a beauty necessity.

21.01.2022 An Invitation for Wedgwood Collectors The Wedgwood Society of NSW’s next meeting is Sunday 16th of February. We are a friendly group who meet 6 times a year to share our love of all things Wedgwood. ... If you would like to attend as a guest please PM for details.

19.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day from the Wedgwood Society of NSW Wedgwood 1979 Mother’s Day Plate Blue on White Jasperware Deer with Fawn

16.01.2022 Today would have been the Society’s Christmas Lunch. A great opportunity to socialise with other members and grab a few Chrissy Presents from the Buy and Sell. Unfortunately due to Covid it was not to be. Let’s hope next year we will be able to enjoy the company of fellow collectors who are also great friends. And for Christmas 2020 I am hoping this lovely Panthers Vase ornament will be added to my collection this year. Hint hint. ... Tina

09.01.2022 From all at the Wedgwood Society of NSW

05.01.2022 Today was supposed to be a scheduled meeting of the Wedgwood Society of NSW but due to social distancing unfortunately that was not to be. However, due to social media we are still able to share our love of all things Wedgwood. Just not in person. This is my collection of Mid Century Moonstone pieces. ... Please feel free to share a photo of some part of your collection so that others may enjoy, learn and envy. And any interesting facts on my collection or others would be most welcome. Tina

05.01.2022 Happy 73rd Wedding Anniversary to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip By some amazing coincidence this arrived today and I feel as though I was meant to have it. I had been wanting one for a long time and Noel Annett, a fellow Society Member, offered this at a great price. Being a collector himself Noel packed my new treasure like a pro! Thanks Noel ... Designed by Richard Guyatt in 1972 to commemorate the 25th Wedding Anniversary of our Queen and her Prince. Tina

04.01.2022 A visit to the Southern Antiques Centre is now even better! Alan Landis has brought his beautiful and unique Wedgwood to the South and some of us are very happy, including Ailsa Langford pictured here with Alan. As he will now be dividing his time between Potts Point and Kogarah please call beforehand to make sure he will be there. Alan’s knowledge of and passion for Wedgwood is invaluable when choosing a special piece to add to your collection. ... You can follow Alan on his Facebook page Alan Landis Antiques, check out his website www.alanlandisantiques.com or call him on 0414 703 759 to book an appointment. We also had a delicious lunch at The Laughing Goat Cafe. It really is a wonderful day out!

03.01.2022 Happy 4th of July! This footed bowl was created in honour of the Sesquicentennial of Independence Celebrations in 1926. The portraits are Washington, La Fayette and Franklin. I do not know how it came to be in Australia. With the three feet it is unlike anything else in my collection. ... Tina Wilson

Like many organizations we are following the advice of health professionals regarding social distancing and preventing the spread of coronavirus. It’s just not possible at this time for us to meet and ensure the safety of our members. In the meantime I would recommend following some of the Wedgwood pages online as a welcome distraction.... As an example, please enjoy a link from the World of Wedgwood Facebook Page on Chatelaines. If I were to win lotto I would be purchasing one of these the same day.
