22.01.2022 This morning was all about colour identification, sorting, counting, tracing and colouring in... but the main part was establishing connections, being, becoming & belonging. Time was spent one on one and in a group. One of the most favourable parts about family day care is the one on one connections educators can make with families and individuals in a small group

I truly believe children learn more when they are allowed to go at their own pace with more child to child influence than adults stepping in and creating a sense of control. 07.01.2022 Its a puzzles kind of day today, even though the floor puzzle will be a bit tricky for the little ones, we sure will have fun problem solving together!

07.01.2022 Today isnt the best for outdoor play so were turning jelly crystals into jelly, mini science project/sensory/messy/food play. We have already experienced the change from solid to liquid and later on we will get to taste, feel, listen & best of all make a MESS! Two wonderful helpers cannot wait to see whats next :)
