15.01.2022 Where do you derive your sense of belonging from? Prof Aileen Moreton-Robinson states "In Australia, the sense of belonging, home and place enjoyed by the non-Indigenous subject the coloniser or migrant is based on the dispossession of the original owners of the land and the denial of our rights under international customary law. It is a sense of belonging derived from ownership as understood within the logic of capital; and it mobilises the legend of the pioneer the battler in its self-legitimisation." https://www.abc.net.au//our-story-is-in-the-land-/11159992

It is named after the Wiradjuri phrase meaning 'speak the truth’. They include: * Commit to unearthing and acting on workplace truths however uncomfo...rtable this may be. * Ensure any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-related work is Indigenous-led and informed. * Focus on workplace readiness (cultural safety) rather than worker readiness. * Recognise and remunerate cultural load as part of an employee’s workload. * Take action to address workplace racism.
