24.01.2022 So proud of being the church like this always- past, present and future!

23.01.2022 This is our dog, Maggie and our son, Elijah. Elijah adores Maggie and chases after her constantly, never giving up in his determination to love her (and show that love physically, except we’re still working on the gentle part). Maggie is old, grumpy and constantly walks away and barks at Elijah. Maggie used to be able to escape onto the couch out of reach, but even that’s not possible anymore. No matter where she hides, Elijah always finds her. This reminded me of the story of Jonah we read last Sunday; and reminds me of so many people trying to ignore/shut out/run from God’s presence in their lives. Elijah is a reality, whether Maggie like it or not and he won’t give up in his love for her. God is a reality in our lives too, and neither will God give up seeking us out and showing us love Rev Susan

19.01.2022 December 1: Modern Christmas Song Carol of the Bells (1914) This is the earliest of our modern songs, written in 1914, but thanks to its use in films, it has become a modern classic. Feel free to add your favourite versions of this song to bless others

17.01.2022 Did you realise that Christmas is just 40 days away? And that Advent (officially) starts in just 14 days? And that we start opening/eating our Advent calendars in 15 days? It's all coming quickly! So as part of something we hope to do here on FB during Advent, tell me your favourite Christmas Carols and Songs please???? Let's see how many different ones we can name, but let's also see which ones get the most likes (or dislikes). From this I'll be making a top 25 to count us from December 1st to 25th. Favourite Christmas Carols and Songs- GO!!!!!!!

14.01.2022 December 25: Traditional Christmas Song Silent Night On this Christmas evening, may this carol wash over you as a gentle blessing of all the joy this day has brought forth... Merry Christmas to you all

14.01.2022 December 1: Traditional Song O Come, O Come Emmanuel... Please feel free to add other versions of this carol that we can all appreciate

12.01.2022 Greetings all, Christmas Day has come and gone! It was great to be able to meet with people again and sing together! Something I have missed. Here is our final pre-recorded worship service for the foreseeable future. https://youtu.be/c8OZmxuEuVQ ... In January worship will be held under the trees in White Hills and won't be streamed or recorded. From February we will resume streaming the 09:15 service.

12.01.2022 Still gathering suggestions of people's favourite Christmas songs and carols please...

09.01.2022 December 25th: Modern Christmas Song Christmas With You A brand new Australian Christmas Song, commissioned by ABC Classic, composed by Deborah Cheetham and recorded by people fro,m across the nation, this launched on the 15th of December, and blesses our Christmas this night.

08.01.2022 December 23: Modern Christmas Song Hey Mary! I used this in church a few years ago, but I also randomly watch it through the year cause it makes me smile

08.01.2022 From Tuesday, as a musical Advent Calendar, we'll be posting two Christmas songs a day. Each morning will be a traditional Carol; and each evening will be a more contemporary song (some modern classics, and others less well known) You still have time to let me know your favourites, and I'll make sure they are on our list :D Advent Blessings to all

08.01.2022 December 24: Traditional Christmas Song O Holy Night Quite a few of you asked for this song, and this particular version is a Christmas present for a few of our members who are big Josh fans

08.01.2022 going up at White Hills Huge Thanks to Fire Rescue Victoria for helping us out

07.01.2022 Good morning everyone. It was great to see so many of you last week via Zoom. Here is this weeks link.... https://youtu.be/4NmZHwRSv9E We would love to see pictures of your trees if you have been doing them - [email protected] Don’t forget in two weeks we will be having our congregation meeting.

05.01.2022 December 2- Modern Christmas Song The North Wind. Can't get a firm date fro when this was written, but its composer, William Garnet James, died in 1977, and he collaborated with poet, John Wheeler, to create this uniquely Australian carol. This recording come, amazingly enough, from a concert given in New York City, which I (Susan) think is utterly fabulous

02.01.2022 December 24: Modern Christmas Song See A Baby A local composition from our local community- how blessed are we??

02.01.2022 I’ve been finding Katy’s prayers very helpful recently, so I hope you do too. Rev. Susan

02.01.2022 December 2: Traditional Christmas Song It Came Upon A Midnight Clear (Sorry it's not a visual clip, but its a lovely version)
