25.01.2022 We seriously LOVE the support we get from our local community! We are supplied Boomerang Bags every month by the wonderful Shellena who runs the Carine Girl Guides Boomerang Bag group. They get together every couple weeks and sew reusable carry bags using donated fabrics. The result is some seriously groovy bags - Craig's favourite is the Toy Story bag that must have come from a child's doona cover ... These are available for customers to take for FREE and while they're meant to 'come back' like a boomerang we're happy as long as they're out there being used!

25.01.2022 2020 harvest WA grown Pecans are now out! Thats our favourite part about dealing directly with local suppliers - were first in line when the fresh stuff is available! Our mate Bernies Pecan trees are so well established they arent fertiliser or sprayed and are mostly rain fed. This means the Pecans are a little on the small side, but the taste is INCREDIBLE, not bitter and rancid like the nuts in the supermarket

25.01.2022 The Jar Exchange has returned! This is a free service weve offered our local community for the last 20+ years. It allows people to drop off surplus jars they no longer need so others can reuse them to fill in-store, or take home and use however they please! We werent too happy about putting it in storage but it was for the best given how things looked a few months ago.... Were very happy to reintroduce the exchange, however we have had to change the rules a bit. Please make sure you understand and agree before attempting to drop off jars! Jars must be presented to staff to be checked and sterilised - never place your jars directly into the box! Jars must be clean & dry, with all labels & sticky residue removed. Jars must have lids that seal well. If any jars dont meet those requirements well have to reject them so please do the right thing and check over them for us For those whose gardens are starting to pop as Spring approaches please come and grab some jars for your pickles & preserves - we expect to be overloaded pretty quickly!

19.01.2022 Our Organic Broccoli powder is a great way to get some extra veg - every two tablespoons of powder is equal to approximately one of your daily vege serves. It also releases a lot of CO2 and disturbs the ecosystem, plus the 'food miles' getting it to Australia all added up to us not feeling comfortable selling it anymore Instead we sell Murray River Pink Salt which is sustainably produced in Australia, helps combat inland salinity a...nd supports Aussie producers. We're also ripping apart each display and thoroughly scrubbing them clean which is much easier when we're closed. It's not an easy job but it's gotta be done!

01.01.2022 2020 harvest WA grown Pecans are now out! That's our favourite part about dealing directly with local suppliers - we're first in line when the fresh stuff is available! Our mate Bernie's Pecan trees are so well established they aren't fertiliser or sprayed and are mostly rain fed. This means the Pecans are a little on the small side, but the taste is INCREDIBLE, not bitter and rancid like the nuts in the supermarket
