23.01.2022 KIDS AGAINST GAS STAND UP AGAINST NEW CSG Australia has the undesirable title of the 15th largest emitter of carbon dioxide on the planet. (according to International Energy Agency data, 2016) https://www.nst.com.my//australia-pm-lashes-climate-critic The Australian Government has no desire to stop using coal-fired power plants, still planning to approve new ones. They also plan to add The Narrabri Gas field into the mix which produces high levels of methane that are much worse for the climate than Co2! The Australian Government is ignoring the science of Global Warming at the detriment of the rest of the world. Australian citizens are outraged at our own Government and have been taking to the streets in mass protests, which of course the Australian Government is trying to outlaw.

01.01.2022 We're thrilled to be launching The WELA Collection alongside our friends at The Commons Social Change Library. An inspiring and informative collective of quotes, films, books and articles highlighting the importance of women's leadership for our environment and climate action. It's been a while since going to the library felt like such a revolutionary feminist act! We'd love you to check it out, share with your friends, and share with us any suggestions for additional r...esources in the comments. We'll continue to work with the lovely Librarians to bring you interesting and inspiring content through this collection. https://commonslibrary.org/collection/wela/
