07.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! To get you're weekend kick started we've got Ferdinand's Saar Quince gin! Ferdinand's is possibly the first gin to list wine as an ingredient, being made from hand-picked Riesling grapes from the steep shale slopes of the Zilliken estate on the grand Saarburger Rausch site. Master Distiller, Andreas Vallendar also employs over thirty finely balanced botanicals taken from the vineyards as well as their own cultivated plants.... Made by macerating home grown aromatic quinces in a gin base. The resulting bright gold coloured liquid is redolent of ripe quince, without being overly sweet. Silky in the mouth with a luxurious feel, hints of lemon add freshness while the finish offers super pure quince and lemon flavours. 03.01.2022 Guten Tag Tamvegas! Today's gin is a real treat! Following the success of the limited Elephant Aged Gin in 2018,... Elephant Aged Gin II is based on a 100% rye distillate, taking advantage of its premium grain structure as well as its natural spicy and fruity characteristics. It combines the same 14 botanicals that Elephant London Dry Gin is renowned for, but has increased quantities of all ingredients to achieve a higher concentration of aromas. Resting in three different types of oak for a year, the Elephant Aged Gin II was further rested in Diplomático Rum casks from Venezuela for a few weeks, which lends it an additional warm, sweet caramel aroma.
