25.01.2022 The nature walk to our nearby park was a great experience for our children. One of our child said "I have been to the park 100 times, but not with my school friends, it is different and fun". We collected natural resources during our nature walk and used them to create Indigenous art to celebrate "National Reconciliation Week". Children are actively participating in learning letters by looking at our own creation " letter board". Children have shown interest in playing bubbles, this week we made our own wands out of pipe cleaners and enjoyed blowing bubbles. Looking forward for another exciting week.

25.01.2022 As its getting colder this term we will be supporting The Exodus Foundation. They need canned food such as ham, chicken, fish, soups, vegetables (pull ring can...s are best) and two minute noodles. If you can help please leave your donations in our donation box located in the hallway. We will be collecting until Friday 22nd June 2018.

23.01.2022 Today we pick our home grown lettuce and we all enjoyed having it with our afternoon tea. Children also collect flowers and leaves from our garden, which we turned into the nature collage. Recently children have been displaying a large interest exploring doll house and dramatic play.

22.01.2022 Another finding in our garden today. Children found a bird egg fallen off the tree onto the ground. It was cracked on one side. There were some ants around, children were very thoughtful and caring to the bird and remove all the ants. We then put the egg in a safer place where "his mother can come and pick him up later". Children demonstrates respect for living and non living things, animals and their natural environments. Bye Bye Bird.

22.01.2022 Winter has arrived, we started our new project "Learning about our seasons" through various art and craft and reading books. 14.01.2022 We had a special visit from the police on Thursday morning. Two officers spoke to the children about road safety, the importance of wearing our seat belts and most importantly stranger danger. The highlight of the morning was the police car as the children enjoyed sitting in the car, playing with the police radio and we even heard the police siren. Thank you to the police for their special visit and we hope to see you again.

Children care our "Hidden Garden" all the time and it provides a great opportunity to sense of sight, touch and taste by engaging in natural play.
