25.01.2022 Looking for your opinion please... If you seen me at a market, what type of items would interest you the most,.? What would you most likely to buy either for something for yourself, Or a gift to someone else, ... Would you be more interested in garden ornaments, ? Something that’s just a nice inside talking point,.? Maybe something that has more of a purpose.? Have a look through my photos, google metal art, or look on Pinterest. I want your ideas on what you think would be good selling items please..

23.01.2022 Who can get the ring off the horse shoes, Have you tried it, Some can sit there and try for ages, ... Others give up after a minute of trying.. Yes... of course I can do it

23.01.2022 Over the last year, I’ve been sent this photo, or similar multiple times.. If I made these, as a complete unit, Would there be a market for them, ... I would guess, until I make them and get a weight, can’t be totally sure, postage would be around $15, Including, the pair - male & female, skewers & handles already welded together, I’m looking at making them out of steel, which for purchased, would be nice & shiny - polished, But once used & washed, would get a rust coat over them, Stainless steel, or aluminium, which I can cut out & make these, but I’m unable to weld these materials, so I will ask my steel guy to give me a price for him to weld the handle & skewers on. I could even make an added piece of dowel on the end of the handle for easy to hold extra.. What would people prefer,.? What sort of cost would you pay.? For mild steel - that will get a rust on it after use,.? For stainless or aluminium, that won’t rust. .? Hit me with your answers.?......

20.01.2022 Thank you to everyone that has liked, tagged & shared my page, The lucky winner is..... Melinda Hobson.. ... Congratulations ..

19.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who is supporting me with everything I’m making, From horse jumping equipment, to planters, Christmas decorations Right through to metal art, & trophies. ... Please look through my photos, to see everything I’ve made, As I made this page not too long ago, deleting my previous page, so all of my items may not be visible here, Are you looking for trophies with a difference, something you can’t buy at a shop, Check out the 2 I made for a Stockman’s Challenge in January, I’m currently out of action from a Ruptured ACL, having surgery last week, BUT.... I’ve been able to sit in the shed for about an hour each day, So I’m still getting a tiny bit done, Once I’m on the mend, out of this damn split, off crutches, I’ll spend an hour or 2 extra each day longer in there,. Have you got something in mind, something different you’re thinking of for a gift for that hard to buy for friend or family member, Hit me up with your ideas.. Thank you for taking your time to look at my posts, If I run a competition for you to win something, What would you like as a prize.? Taking into account, if you’re not local to me, it needs to be able to be delivered or posted.? Maybe a Christmas competition.??..??..??..

18.01.2022 So yesterday I polished or cleaned up the copper, It’s not really polished, but can’t work out what to call the process, It’s made it so the copper sheets, before I start making the petals, are shiny, and some parts full of vibrant colours, ... Photos don’t really do it justice, even with a light shining on them, Being in the sun brings out the brilliance of the colours, Here’s a difference with the ones I made the other day, are darker, And the ones I’ve made over the weekend, These roses are a slow, fiddly process, and now I’m cleaning up the sheets, is added time, but also added beauty, 1st & 2nd photo are the 3 I’ve made today, 3rd photo is ones a few days ago, ( still beautiful, just darker . )

17.01.2022 Finished this ant today He’s a big bugger, and you wouldn’t want an infestation of these He’s even got hold of the fly spray He’s approx 25 cm long ... Made from all recycled bits and pieces, The photos don’t do this fella justice, doesn’t show the detail I was hoping to show,

14.01.2022 May not be able to do much at the moment, But I’m not someone that can just sit and watch tv or lay in bed all day, Even when I sit &watch tv, I like to keep my hands busy,... I had copper flowers I needed to finish, as they were all cut out and ready to put together, So this morning I sat in the shed, and welded them together, Tonight folded them all into shape, Every piece of copper sheet I use is a different colour, these sheets were a bit darker than the first lot I used, These are for sale, are lightweight, so postage is cheap, Buy 6 get the 7th for 1/2 price,

14.01.2022 Hi everyone, I’m currently out of action with a knee injury last Tuesday .. Had an MRI today, back to GP in the morning to see if I need further treatment, Or to just let it heal.. ... If you’re waiting on something to be made, please give me time, If you’re thinking of getting something made, Please send me your messages & ideas, In the works I’m currently trying to get more of the square timber planters made, A large horse head & neck to put on a stand in the garden.. Also large metal pergola type structure to go into a garden, with sides filled with vine, leaf & flower hand made pieces.. this is going to be very different for me to make,,.. Just remember, for those of you that live in the S.E. of SA, Please pop into the POP UP shop, next to Godfrey’s on Commercial St, Mt Gambier. Check out all of my hand made goods, would love your feed back, If you seen me at a market, what type of items would you look at, and take interest in buying as a gift for yourself or someone else.. hit me with all your ideas.. And I’ll be posting photos of progress on a project I’m going to try to make to keep me busy while sitting down,.. the photo I’ve added is a snippet of the type of metal I’ve started cutting up, as I’m getting ready to start making it, your guesses of what it’s going to be will be interesting

10.01.2022 So just before I ruptured my ACL, I was going to make a work bench for Joey for his birthday, 2.5 months ago, But that’s been put on the side, Yesterday afternoon Ian & I, got stuck into it, and we got it finished,.... I went to feed cows and delivered it too, Now he’s got a 3mt, very strong, sturdy workbench, that will last him a lifetime.. And very heavy.. Won’t find something like this in any hardware store, ( Joey is my SIL, My daughter’s partner )

09.01.2022 Making the bird baths has been on the go in my shed over the last week, I’ve now completed a few more, And will be letting the next few people in line know they can come and choose which one they would like. I’m putting a bit of creativity and differences into each one,... And hope they all look as good as the one before, 2 have now gone to their new homes, And I love getting feedback and photos, knowing that the buyer has loved what I’ve created.. I’ve got multiple things being made in the shed at the moment.. so over the never few weeks I’ll be showing more off.. Don’t forget to like, share and tag to be in the competition drawn tomorrow night. Here are the photos I’ve been sent of where the bird baths have been placed, They look like they are meant to be exactly where they’ve been placed... Thank you to you all for your feedback, sharing & liking my page, And enjoying my work.. Appreciate it

07.01.2022 Edit.... Something I’ve learnt today, Copper is the gift for the 7th wedding anniversary gift, I’ve just had a lady order 1 for her hubby for their 7th anniversary,. How perfect. ... An ever lasting gift that will have lots of meaning. Getting more of my copper roses slowly coming together, Such a slow process, But I just love seeing them as I fold the petals up to have a finished flower, Here’s a photo of a copper sheet that I’ve cleaned ready to cut more out, And the beautiful colours of the different cuts of petals. Selling these,.. reasonably cheap to post,

06.01.2022 Something I’ve been making over last 3-4 weeks while I’ve only been able sit in the shed, This is something for a birthday present, Can you see what it is,.?... I was going to run a piece of steel bar across the centre and add another rose, But it looked too much with 5 roses, Now I’m thinking of adding the October flower which is yellow & orange in the centre,, Add flower.? Or it looks enough as it is.?

06.01.2022 So a while back I posted about making bird baths, And how Brenton, from Abbsteel made the dishes for me, When he made them, he wanted to throw them out, although, I didn’t let him, I loved the warp, strange effect they have. ... These are made with strong thicker steel, no flimsy fall apart metal pieces here, Won’t rust away after 1 winter. I’ve been making a couple, complete with their own little wagtail, ready to take a dip. The first one, is a basic birdbath, $75 2nd has a plant feel, complete with leaves and flowers, & the bath. $130 Both are for sale. Make a fantastic gift for that hard to buy for person, More to be made.

05.01.2022 Hi there everyone,.. I’m looking for shearing combs, As many as possible,.... 02.01.2022 Making planter boxes, What do you think.? Edit. :... Made some more today, slightly different, First photo, one I made yesterday, with the cross rails recessed into the corner posts, Looks good, but the ends look a bit messy, So I made 2 more, but didn’t recess the rails, First 3 photos are not recessed, Next 2 are recessed, look at the ends to see what I mean. Tell me what you think now..
