Do you have an acute condition or a significant flare up of a pre-existing chronic condition? 3. Do you feel that without treatment you will have an escalation in care needs such as: the need for an increased number of visits, increased pain, need for further specialist review or a substantial increase in recovery time as a result of further delay to care? 4.
