Ive always espoused the importance of supporting companies that are transparent, ethical, focused on the betterment of our communities and progressive. 21.01.2022 Lovely reflection for a Thursday by Nutritionist Mumma Krissy @her.nourished If you were looking for permission, consider it granted Permission to leave the to-do list for a moment Permission to NOT be productive Permission to rest Permission to play... Permission to be creative. Permission to not fill your time. A strength of mine is that Im super productive. If I need to get something done Im on to it yesterday. Its a strength when managing multiple platforms, work and three kids. But its also sometimes a weakness as the downside to productivity is that I often dont give myself permission to slow down and just BE. So heres a photo of me today after giving myself permission to do nothing during nap time. I sat in front of my computer but just wasnt feeling it. Usually if find a task and push through but instead I stepped away. For two full hours I watched YouTube and pottered around in the kitchen and felt SO inspired and creative from simply pausing the to-do list for a moment. 18.01.2022 Nourishment. Mind body and soul! @withregram @rachelaust Salads are alright, but roasted veggies are eveeeeen better!!! I love them so much! Try my super quick Roast Vegetable Salad. Full portions are up on www.eatrunlift.me (you can find it in the Recipe Index). . Cut up a whole bunch of flavourful vegetables (I like to use carrots, parsnips, radishes, butternut squash, and sweet potatoes), and were going to roast them in the oven with a delicious drizzle of extra vir...gin olive oil, kocher salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, coconut aminos, dijon mustard, and dried basil. . Once your vegetables have cooled, throw them on top of some crisp, fresh spinach leaves, and add in some cooked lentils, some pumpkin seeds, and if you want, throw on a lean protein. You have yourself a super nutritious and mouth-watering meal (way better than a wet, cold salad in my opinion haha). . Tips: - Chop hard vegetables into smaller pieces and softer vegetables into larger pieces to help them roast at a similar rate. - Dont overcrowd your baking sheet, we dont want to trap the steam, we are trying to caramelise the veggies, not stew them! - Use a nice serving of olive oil, we dont want them tasting all dry and flavourless. - Dont forget to flip/stir your vegetables at least once half-way through the cooking process. - - #plantbasedrecipes #vegorecipes #vegetarianrecipes #nutritioncoach #foodcoach #wellcollective #wellcollegegrad - Words and Image by @rachelaust See more

12.01.2022 P A U S E Think about the word for a minute. Actually stop and reflect what the word means. What does it bring up for you?... It made me uncomfortable. In the pit of my stomach, an emptiness that I quickly tried to replace with something, to get busy with the things I told myself I should be doing. The word Pause in itself holds meaning to an Awkward Moment and aptly so. We are experiencing a pause. Not a stop. There will be a start again or a trickle before the flow comes back.Its an uncomfortable moment in which there is no certainty. What a great lesson to be held in this.
