22.01.2022 Gilgandra has a Market Day, this Saturday from 9.00AM-1.00PM. It is being held in the Town Square, if it rains, it will be at the CWA rooms.

21.01.2022 Our next meeting is on Wednesday the 11th February 2015, at 1.30PM, followed by the traditional CWA afternoon tea. We look forward to seeing all our members and any lady who would like to make friends, while helping the Community to be a better place.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to a member of our branch, Anne Jones, she is now Anne Jones OAM, having received an Order of Australia Medal, at today`s Australia Day Ceremony in Cameron Park. Mrs. Chick Jones, a member of Mumbil-Stuart Town CWA, has been named Wellington Senior Citizen of the year, Congratulations Chick.

14.01.2022 Mumbil-Stuart Town are holding their 2015 International Day, on Friday the 28th August 2015 at the Mumbil Hall. It is always a wonderful day and lovely to see the children from both Mumbil and Stuart Town Schools, so I for one am looking forward to again attending.

14.01.2022 Our first meeting for 2015,will be at 1.3oPM on Wednesday 11th February. We meet every 2nd Wednesday until November. New members are always welcomed to join.

13.01.2022 Had a wonderful day at the Gollan CWA`s 80th birthday, on Wednesday the 15th July, the first meeting to commence was actually on Wednesday the 17th July 1935. Wellington was represented by the President and Vice President, Helen Norris and Joan Snelson, Bob and I were guests of Gollan and the Secretary, Bev Cameron was part of Stray notes, that entertained with old time music. Funny thing was, most of the songs were well and truly old in 1935, mostly pre and World War 1, not to mention the Bore War songs. Thankyou to Gollan for once again a most enjoyable day.

07.01.2022 Wellington Branch had a wonderful 2014 Christmas lunch at the Wellington Hotel in Swift Street. Members and invited guests from Gollan CWA, enjoyed lunch and a desert afterward and later gave each other presents.

05.01.2022 In Wellington: Beware, we've just received this warning: There is a lady targeting the elderly in town telling them she is from a company like homecare, she offers a discount. Once she has asked to enter their homes to see what needs to be done she robs them. This happened today to a local elderly lady. Warn all elderly family members and friends.
