23.01.2022 Busy weekend of racing ahead for the stable. Today we are heading up the Hume Highway with NEVADA DANE who is racing at Kensington. Race 6 #8 @ 6:25pm with apprentice Tom Sherry to ride. On Monday we have two runners racing at Wagga. Nick Souquet has been booked to ride both of them. The first is COIN DROP who is a new addition to the stable. ... Race 2 #2 @ 2:40pm. 20.01.2022 FOOLISH BOY is racing today at Albury, Race 4 @ 5:10pm. We expect him to put in another competitive run and be right up there in the finish with Mick Heagney on board. We also have Magpie Phil and Nevada Dane stepping out for a trial after the last race.

18.01.2022 Exciting weekend ahead for the stable with two runners. Tonight at Moonee Valley Racing Club, NEVADA DANE resumes in the 955 with Teo Nugent to ride. Here’s hoping for the roughie in a small field! Race 4 #7 @ 7pm. ... On Saturday at Tatura, we will saddle up THE VIEW who steps up to 1600 metres with Nick Souquet to ride. Race 6 #5 @ 4pm.

17.01.2022 The 2019/20 racing season has seen seven individual runners compete for Wellington Racing. A creditable eight winners and thirteen placings ensured that top three finishes was at 35% for the season. This upcoming season we are looking forward to introducing some promising new horses, and for our new and current owners to cheer them into the winners stall!

14.01.2022 When Rob paid 7k for Funky Farm 18 months ago as a birthday present for Sharon, who would have thought Funky would have taken us - as well as our great family friends Daryl Blyton and the Ryan’s - on this fun journey. From long odds to short odds, from short trips and even up to a mile yesterday, Funky has banked an impressive 85k in prize money for us so far and we hope this will continue to grow. Check out a few pictures from today’s Border Mail on yesterday’s winners and also a picture of Rob and Sharon with Nevada Dane.

10.01.2022 It was a rainy morning for some of the owners in Saint Henry who braved the conditions to watch him and Funky work on the farm today. A freshen up and some hill work will put them in good stead to race at Wagga on Thursday.

08.01.2022 What a thrilling result for the team with a running double at Albury today. It was very exciting to see Henry notch up his first win and how about Funky’s last 100! A big thank you to all involved.

06.01.2022 COIN DROP 5yo Chestnut gelding who is ready to race. Here is your chance to buy into a well related gelding by Hussonet. He originally cost $140,000 at the Adelaide Yearling Sales. Coin Drop was initially sent to Hong Kong where he had one race start. Since his return to Australia, he has had two starts throughout the month of November. At Ballarat he finished 5th and was beaten less than 3 lengths by a promising galloper. Coin Drop is currently in full work and ready to g...o. We plan to be back racing within a few weeks, possibly in a maiden at Corowa on December 17th. Working off a 5% share, $550 will cover ownership and payment until the end of December 2020.
