24.01.2022 Whilst we cannot interact personally with each other in these challenging times, Residents can go for walks around the village (observing social distancing of course!!). Residents are coming up with creative ways of displaying teddy bears / toys in their windows or on their front porch to make their walks more enjoyable spotting all the colourful teddy bears / toys and beautiful displays. Here are some of the photos of what Wellington Manor Residents have come up with for everyone to enjoy. Residents will be able to nominate the best dressed teddy bear/ toy or display and the winner will be announced on Friday, 15th May 2020.

For the families at RetireAustralia, we are delighting in the simple things sharing kindness and love and finding wa...ys to show our appreciation. How will you be celebrating the special mother figures in your life today?

12.01.2022 We absolutely love this story of Del and Evon! A massive thank you to everyone who participated in the making of this video which captures the essence of our lovely Del and Evon and life here at Wellington Manor. Everyone has a story, and it often influences their decision to move into a retirement village to make the most of their retirement years. This story really struck a chord with us.

11.01.2022 More than 100 years ago, at 11am on 11 November 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after four years of the most brutal war the world had seen. In the four years of that war, more than 330,000 Australians served overseas, and over 60,000 had died. Today, on 11 November we mark that anniversary, and remember all those who sacrificed so much for us all, both in WWI, and all the wars, conflicts and operations that have happened since, and still continue today.... We particularly honour and celebrate those among our residents, and their families, who are veterans of conflicts, and hope that you will join us in paying our respects and express our gratitude for all they have given.

10.01.2022 Looking for a good news story to brighten your day? Then you might like our Good News Hub a brand new section of our website that showcases tales of village life. Read our latest update to find out more about the status of measures in place within our comm...unities. http://ow.ly/sp7650zy2Mm
