25.01.2022 Mrs Hardwick created this amazing video to celebrate the Teddy Bear’s picnic!

23.01.2022 Silver celebrated the end of term with an excursion to Burrendong Dam. It was a wonderful day with everyone enjoying a tour of the dam with Mr Wilson, fishing and a barbecue lunch. There was rock skipping, rolling down hills, playing footy, eating ice cream and a fun bus trip. Silver would like to thank Mrs Eather, Tyler Peckham, Mrs Kayla, Mr Lee, Anna, Jacob, Lisa Rabbit and Mrs Lee for joining in the adventure. An extra special thank you goes to Jeffery Amatto and Lisa Thomas for their extraordinary generosity and Wellington Arts 2820 for the prize money we won in the recent Sculpture Festival. Thank you to Rod Wilson for a very interesting tour. Silver are planning a new adventure very soon!

18.01.2022 Our annual WPS Presentation Day will take place tomorrow. Unfortunately, due to covid restrictions, parents are unable to attend this year. Photos of award winners will be uploaded to our website and students who receive awards will have a photo of themselves at the ceremony sent home. All students are required to wear full school uniform.

Well we have all made it to the end of another interesting Term. With many events having to be cancelled it will be a fun day for Kindergarten as they head out to Wambangalang for their annual Teddy Bears Picnic on Thursday. It is always a highlight of the year for me to be able to join them. On the cancellation note I need to advise you that Intensive Swimming has had to be cancelled due to COVID restrictions. Thanks for all of the wonderful feedback regarding ideas for keeping Miss Catherine's memory alive at the school. Your support as a community during this most difficult time has been amazing. I know that our staff are looking forward to the break as a chance to recharge batteries and get ready for an action packed finish to the year. There is no School Development day to start Term 4 so all students will return on Monday 12th October. Have a great break!

09.01.2022 Final message from Principal Mr. Darryl Thompson: What a great end to a very different year. Our Year 6 Farewell was a wonderful evening and most probably one we will look at holding in our school grounds again into the future.... Tomorrow our Presentation Day will acknowledge all of the learning and achievement across the year. Please be reminded that the last day of attendance for students this year is Wednesday 16th December. Our Google planning survey is still open. The link is: https://docs.google.com//1dco5mpSuvTyPyoFi0R1ZjBRfwbu/edit As it describes we are entering a new planning cycle so your feedback in developing the plan will be appreciated. I plan to close the survey at 3pm on Wednesday 16th December so that we can use the input during our School Development Days on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th December. The arrival of the building has seen our before and Afterschool care site continue to take shape rapidly. We are working with the P&C to assist in the operation of the program. The roles supporting this program will be paid positions. If you are a parent who might be interested in working with this team please contact President Kayla Veech or myself. I trust that you have all enjoyed reading your child's report. Next year there are two School development Days to begin the year with students returning on Friday 29th January. Please have a wonderful holiday break and enjoy your Christmas and New Year with friends and family!

08.01.2022 These are some of our top 20 borrowers for 2020. This includes borrowing for home from the library and participating in the home reading program. A huge congratulations to Sanjit who was the top borrower for 2020. He read an incredible 126 books this year and chose his prize from the book club catalogues.
