23.01.2022 Last week Welly tested our skills at Rock It, with rock climbing, bouldering, and tunnel crawling. We had lots of fun and it's safe to say if any of us ever have to spy crawl through an air vent we are all set!

19.01.2022 Welly has been busy the past few weeks with a wide variety of nights! We made up our own mocktails in preparation for Cam's boot (photos coming!), had a Nerf war, celebrated Halloween and carved some capsicums, and practiced our bomb diffusing skills playing Keep Talking and No one Explodes!

15.01.2022 Welly has been pretty busy so far this year! We've had multiple Baden-Powell Award presentations and heaps of fun nights including go karting at Hyper Drive, frisbee golf, wide games, Mario Kart competition, and kayaking. 15.01.2022 Last night, the crew ran a Rovers vs Venturers night with the Wellington Venturers - their numbers managed to outweigh our tactics!

14.01.2022 Welly has been very busy over the past couple of weeks. We learnt self-defence with the Huon Rover Crew, had a LAN party, cooked up a feast at our Bunnings BBQ, went abseiling with the Venturers, and are all set for a pyjama GBM tonight. We are looking forward to relaxing after a busy fortnight!

14.01.2022 A special congratulations to Luke Dimsey who has achieved his BP Award and Woodbadge! These are truly exemplary achievements for anyone to accomplish, and we are truly proud of Luke for making it this far. Welly held a ceremony last night to celebrate this fantastic occasion. Well done Luke!

14.01.2022 This week we went rafting at Clifton beach and had a great time paddling out and catching waves (but mostly, falling out)

14.01.2022 'Tis the season! We will be selling Christmas trees at the Harmony Garden Centre and Florist Christmas Markets (10am-3pm, 5th December). The funds raised will help us buy new equipment and attend training and events in the new year. Unlike previous years, we will only be selling them on this one day, so don’t miss out!

12.01.2022 Welly's annual Carr Villa getaway was a great success as always! Including the likes of hiking up the semi-snowy Giblin Peak, a high altitude cricket game and your typical Rover shenanigans, the crew greatly enjoyed the much needed break over Winter. A huge thank you to Northern Area Rover Crew for graciously letting us use the hut.

12.01.2022 Yesterday we had a succulent chai night! We decorated many pots, planted succulents, and drank freshly brewed chai - a perfect way to forget about exam pressures!!

10.01.2022 Last night Sarah ran a great night for us! We brought along some of our favourite doggo pals and learnt some useful tips on meeting them for the first time, introducing them to new friends, and training! Despite some initial wariness, most were great friends by the end!

09.01.2022 This weekend just gone, Wellington Rovers attended the annual Guide and Scout Regatta at Snug Beach. We participated our hearts out and smashed it at the beach events. Well done everyone for making this year’s Regatta the best one yet!

08.01.2022 Last Thursday, Welly held our first ever online night! Whilst meeting online can be a challenge, it allows our members that aren't based in Hobart to attend our weekly meetings and we think that's pretty cool . For our first night, we played around in creative mode on Minecraft, and even built a replica of our den! Stay tuned to see what we come up with next!

07.01.2022 This week we shook up Shakespeare! We had a great night of modernising some snippets of Romeo and Juliet as well as Shakespeare-ifying a classic Mean Girls scene!
