21.01.2022 !!!! IMPORTANT !!!! On Tuesday 16 March at 2pm there will be a workshop at the museum to learn how to conserve and store old documents and papers. We all have family Wills, Apprenticeship papers, Title Deeds etc which are precious family history items. Museums and Galleries adviser Tegan Anthes will show us how best to look after these items. Admission is by gold coin donation and the workshop will run for about two hours. Bookings are limited so please contact us through our Facebook page to reserve your spot. All permits are suspended General purpose hot works such as welding, grinding or gas cutting are not to be done in the open. The only exception for items in bad condition is if they are extremely rare.
