12.01.2022 So you have just ventured into the new world of becoming an Oily and your starter pack is on its way Where to from here? how are you going to utilise your oils to their full potential? Using your diffuser with your favourite oil is obvious not only to make your home or office smell nice but also reap the benefits from which each oil has to offer. Whether that be RC for your respiratory system or Peace & Calming to unwind. The possibilities are endless.Take the time... to familiarise yourself with the diffuser blend recipes Making roller balls using the recipes given to you today for any ailment. Don’t be scared to experiment with your oils either!! Handwash, Bodywash & Facewash; Using amber bottles with a foam pump top, fill about 1/3 of the bottle with Castile Soap a few drops each of desired oils and fill the rest with water and shake gently. I use Thieves, Frankincense and lavender in my handwash. Again don’t be scared to experiment!! Bath Soak Mix together in a bowl, 1 cup of Epsom salts, 1 cup of ground rolled oats, 1 tablespoon of baking powder and a few drop of desired oils. Place in a nice warm bath and relax . You’re welcome in advance So there are a few options to get you started. Please do not feel you’re on your own once you receive your oils, I’m here every step to assist you. I purchased my roller balls from EBay I purchased my amber foam pump bottles and amber spray bottles from Oils for Life Australia, a small Brisbane business. Castile soap can be purchased from Health Food Shops. Young Living sell a carrier oil, alternatively you can purchase the fractionated coconut oil from the supermarket to use in your roller balls I will upload the uses for Thieves and making a little go along way in another post. 08.01.2022 SO FRESH AND SO CLEAN! Happy Tuesday, friends! Popping in here today to share some fun cleaning recipes with you all. I don't know about you - but being at home constantly makes me really want to clean all. the. things. There ain't nothing better than a fresh and clean home! ... + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Sink & Grout Scrub Nothing makes me feel more like a domestic queen than when I somehow tackle all of the dishes AND scrub out the sink. You feel me? I keep a glass container of this super easy soft scrub on hand for cleaning out sinks, bathtubs, shower floors, grout, you name it! 3 cups Baking Soda 2 capfuls of Thieves Cleaner 15-20 drops Lemon Essential Oil A generous squirt of Thieves Dish Soap (a little bit of water if needed) Scrub in circular motions and rinse well. SO sparkling clean! Dryer Ball Heaven If you’re ready to go non toxic in your home, first thing is first ditch the dryer sheets, scent booster and not so clean laundry detergent. Did you know that you can make your laundry smell however you please, by using a custom blend of essential oils, and ordering some wool dryer balls on amazon? Try keeping this blend in a glass dropper bottle in your laundry room, to easily add onto your dryer balls! Lavendar Lemongrass (this has some serious staying power!) Bergamot Geranium (You don't have to precise here, just pop the lids off of each oil and add about half of a bottle of them, one by one, into a larger glass dropper bottle. You can also experiment with completely different oils too - you do you!) Spring Fling Room + Linen Spray Too good not to share this cleaner than clean fresh scent! In a glass spray bottle add 3 parts water, 1 part alcohol free witch hazel and 15 drops each of: Lime Tangerine Kunzea Stress Away Shake well and mist the air, and linens as you please (I always recommend spot testing a small corner from far away, before using anything with oils on your clothing, sofa or bedding. I personally have never had an issue!) Cleaning Day Diffuser Blend These are too glorious not to share! Joy Grapefruit Orange or if you’re not a floral kind of gal, another favorite: Lemon Lime Citrus Fresh Rosemary (just 2 drops of this guy, he’s strong) Thieves Cleaner with some extra oomph Have y’all ever added extra oils into your spray bottle of thieves cleaner? I love this simple hack! Try adding lemon and pine next time around! So good.
