We may be granted an exemption to sell to farmers/primary producers but that decision will rest with Firearms Services.... Any updates will be posted here. 22.01.2022 Update re Ammo Supply. Ive been speaking with several suppliers today about using alternative transport arrangements to speed up delivery of ammunition to our store. I have no doubt other stores are also doing the same also. Our stocks are severally depleted (especially rimfire) but rest assured more will be arriving as quickly as possible and I am constantly looking at alternate brands to fill in any gaps over the coming months. If you do require any bulk orders I prefer to order them in as required as to not deplete stock on the shelf for everyday users. CCI , Hornady and Winchester are all working hard behind the scenes to improve supply.

22.01.2022 Update: General Trading as normal. Yes we are open normal hours, no changes have been made yet and we continue to operate as per usual. Due to the large space we work in, and relatively low customer numbers (compared to the supermarket) we can easily meet the current requirements.

The barrel has been floated and has been professionally shortened and threaded to 16inch. 18.01.2022 Update 14/04/2020 I have sought an exemption from Firearms Services to supply ammunition to the Rural Sector this morning and will hopefully be hearing back from them tomorrow once they return to work. One step at a time! Stay tuned. We are able to take non Firearm/Ammunition sales by phone and find a delivery/supply option to suit also.

18.01.2022 Update from Wells Guns and Ammo re Ammo panic buying. Firstly Id like to thanks you all for your patience this week as weve experienced unprecedented level of buying on guns,ammo and many other products. We were not able to get to all the phone calls etc as our phone system and staff were completely overwhelmed at times. In my 20 years working for Wells Ive never seen anything like it, not to mention the IGA Supermarket ... Now to updates on ammo supply. Winchester Subsonics / Powerpoints: We have more stock of 40gr ammo on the way from Winchester in Vic, also we have over 25,000 rounds 42gr US stock in transit and on the way. (Its left the US) Winchester 555 packs are also ordered. Winchester Shotgun Shells: We have ordered more Winchester Ranger and Winchester Super-X shells from Vic also. (Super-X is BB & 4s only) Hornady 17hmr and 22wmr V-MAX: We have some limited stock of 17hmr and 22wmr, which is also on the way from the Aus warehouse. Hornady took a massive hit nationally, stock will unfortunately be months away for these product lines. Core-Lok Remington: Ive been speaking with the supplier and will be ordering ASAP to try and have a buffer on hand. CCI rimfire: CCI Mini Mags and CCI Subsonic are on the way from the QLD warehouse. Also Stinger and Velocitor. 22WMR rounds look to be in good supply at this point. If have any questions about specific ammo feel free to ask as well be updated by our suppliers on a regular basis. Ammo could be in limited supply for 4-6 months so please be sensible when buying as our Primary Producers will need ammo to help protect their crops etc.. Stay safe and enjoy the weekend!

This will affect allot of our Suppliers including Winchester, Outdoor Sporting Agencies, Ridgeline, Raytrade (Marlin, Remington) and Beretta to name a few.
