25.01.2022 Edgewood Mactagget - This gorgeous little spunk was our novice pony for 2018. He may be a small package, but he has a work ethic and willingness to please that ...many horses dont come close to - and he does it all with the happiest pony expression on his little face. Scotty and I purchased Macca as a lively youngster a couple of years ago. Macca took to harness like he was made for it and is now just a brilliant, fun and obedient pony to drive. Straight after Royal Melbourne Show, Macca was purchased by a lovely harness home on the coast of Qld (drop that coat quickly little buddy!) Just now, he boarded the transport truck and has started his journey. I will miss his cheeky little face. He would have made an awesome circus pony. Funny little fella See more

18.01.2022 We can tick off our Winter goal now with Glen Arden Hannah broken to ride broken to drive Such a lovely pony to work with. We are looking forward to Hannahs debut in the show ring in 2019 for the West Gippsland Ag Show season!

18.01.2022 We set goals every year for the Royal Melbourne Show and this was our 5th RMS in a row. This is the top level of showing harness in Victoria. At no other show... do we compete against the best of the best like we do there - 5 years ago our goal was just to compete (with borrowed gear and a borrowed viceroy). We have worked hard over the last 12 months. We own all our own ponies and gear. They are broken by us, trained by us, show prepped by us and exhibited by us. Just Scotty and I. I am outside with ponies before the sun is up, go to work during the day, then outside with ponies until after the sun goes down. We sold a great pony last year to purchase better quality gear. It paid off. Lucy is a wonderful pony inside and out and is an absolute pleasure to own and a thrill to drive. Moondyne Lucy Locketts results at this years Royal Melbourne Show were: 1st Viceroy Turnout under 12h Reserve Champion Turnout (Champion winner is the best in Australia in my opinion) 1st Ladys Pony under 12h 2nd Open Pony under 12h. A slightly flatter workout that cost us dearly. Reserve Champion Pony under 12h The real surprises came with our 13.1h accidentally home bred (from a mare we purchased not knowing she was in foal) Kathleens Poppy. 1st Novice under 14h (our THIRD Novice Pony win in a row!!) 1st Open 13h-14h Reserve Champion Pony 12h-14h. Every time her name was called it was just as much a surprise to me as it was my competition. Poppy is a lovely pony with enormous potential. The atmosphere challenged her but her schooling got her over the line. She did everything that was asked of her and the judge obviously saw what we see. We had an awesome show. Achieved our goals for Turnout and the Novice class and exceeded our own expectations in the rest. Best of all... still room to improve. Thank you Scotty Wells. Not many husbands would tolerate the hours I invest into our ponies let alone encourage it. Thank you. You are the best xx

17.01.2022 Our gorgeous Poppy, now owned by Julie Mackay. 1st in her driven dressage and 2nd overall in her section. Well done to Julie and Poppy! Poppy was bred, broken in, schooled and successfully shown in harness by us prior to being sold, and is now a very competitive CDE pony. So proud to see Julie doing so well with her! Great job Julie

17.01.2022 We received the most beautiful update on one of our previous show ponies this morning. The gorgeous Poppy now lives interstate and has been enjoying Pony Camp and Cross Country this week. Only a couple of years ago at this time of year we were celebrating Poppys Reserve Champion Harness Pony win at Royal Melbourne Show. Such as lovely girl

16.01.2022 Royal Geelong Show 2017

16.01.2022 Berwick Agricultural Show today. Wonderful show but class numbers have been better in previous years. Our ponies did exceptionally well. Edgewood MacTagget had his showing debut although you wouldnt know it was his first show. Berwick can be an intimidating experience for green horses but Macca stood beautifully and performed on cue. Lucy turned on the charm and gets better every show. Edgewood MacTagget: 1st male Shetland and Champion Shetland in Harness :-) Moondyne Lucy L...ockett: 1st viceroy turnout, 1st harness pony under 12.2h, Champion Harness Pony, Supreme Harness Exhibit and the Bev Byron Memorial Ladies Harness Pony :-) Earned their dinner tonight :-)

13.01.2022 Edgewood MacTagget 3yo registered Shetland gelding, 9.3h and broken to harness. Macca has been broken in and schooled by us (Scott and Vanessa Wells) and competed in his first ACDS Driven Dressage Test last weekend - his first public driven outing and he held his own on the scoreboard with 61% in the Novice Test.... Macca has a work ethic to dream of. He is a brave, confident pony who is eager to please - good on the roads and in the ring. Macca will make his harness showing debut over February/March and prospective buyers are welcome to meet him at home or at a show. Both 2nd in their dressage tests Kenny was a Royal Melbourne Show winner with us in 2015 (Novice under 14h & Ladies Pony) Poppy was a Royal Melbourne Show winner with us in 2017 (Novice under 14h, Pony 13-14h and Reserve Champion Pony 12-14h) Lovely ponies now very competitive in Combined Driving. 04.01.2022 We are very proud to present this little guy for sale.... Larvistryn Rockabilly Rocky is the last Larvistryn bred, registered, pure clydesdale colt, and boy is he a ripper! Estimated to mature around 16.2h, under that fluffy brown foal coat is a black masterpiece, being the final result of decades of selective breeding from Larvistryn Clydesdales. ... Colour tested as: E/e (Black horse with 1 black gene, 1 red gene) W20/W20 (will throw his white socks, blaze and body splash) We have had the honour of weaning, training and show prepping Rocky on behalf of his breeder, Nita Smith and following his first show on 27th May 2018 at the Scottish Heritage Day in Dandenong, he will be for sale. Rocky is a lovely little guy who is developing the confidence and mindset to tackle new tasks with ease. He has the temperament, looks and bloodlines to leave as a colt or would also make a beautiful gelding. Prospective purchasers are very welcome to view Rocky at Dandenong showgrounds this coming Sunday, after that he will be available to meet at our property in Bairnsdale. Officially measured at an ideal 10.1 3/4h and turning 5yo next month, with beautiful movement, she is suitable for harness and lead rein. 01.01.2022 We bred this beautiful pony, Poppy. She was broken in to ride and drive by Scotty and I and shown successfully in harness. This pic is her first harness show however she went on to win 2 first place ribbons and Reserve Champion 12-14h at Melbourne Royal in the same year. Poppy has since been sold and is now competing successfully in Combined Driving Events. A super pony and an absolute pleasure to own and train.
