22.01.2022 Were it not for the current COVID-19 lockdown, our chairman John Wells would have been in Melbourne this Friday to attend a memorial service for Andrew Peacock, former Liberal leader and minister in three governments, who died in his adopted home of Austin, Texas, on 16 April. John worked for Peacock as his press secretary from 1989 to 1990. He writes about Peacock in the latest edition of our magazine, The Shell. Here is a photograph of John (on the left) with the then Fede...ral Opposition Leader at a doorstop. The memorial service has been postponed to a date to be announced. Can you name the former Federal Liberal MP standing directly behind Peacock? Read John's article about Peacock here: https://bit.ly/3uLHNsm
21.01.2022 When Tasmanian art gallery MONA put out a call for Indigenous Australians to give their blood for an artwork, it saw it as a well-meaning move to criticise the British Empire. Yet, as Mark Rapaport writes in the latest edition of our bi-annual magazine, The Shell, a lack of consultation and representation meant that the move was entirely at odds with the very community it thought it was serving, and the backlash demonstrated the high stakes of failing to engage. https://www.whmspa.com.au/when-a-ceos-apology-is-not-enough

04.01.2022 Australians want to trust their politicians and community leaders to do the right thing.
