23.01.2022 Shyamalika LOVES food. She will get food at any opportunity. This time someone left a gate open but we have caught her opening gates with her horns to get to the fed bins
21.01.2022 Vira always acts eager for snacks but he’s the fussiest eater out of all of our cows. We he doesn’t want to eat something he just lets it slide out of his mouth onto the ground. Today he did that with watermelon, cabbage and molasses
20.01.2022 Rainy days mean Ballava gets to rub his face in the mud
17.01.2022 Today was hoof trimming day for our cows! We had a professional come to trim them all for us. It’s a bit funny for them to be tipped on their sides but we make sure they get lots of pats and treats. It’s important to trim cows hooves when they start to get too long because it can become uncomfortable for them to walk on and can cause permanent damage
15.01.2022 Morning photo shoot with Vani
12.01.2022 Who remembers Braja? She used to escape so much that we would just let her do what she wanted. We tried to move her into a different herd but she managed to get through about 4 fences and make her way back to her old herd. So, we decided to let her stay and she’s happy now. We are also happy now because she’s stopped escaping
11.01.2022 The newest addition on the farm, a sweet little baby girl!
11.01.2022 On Sunday we celebrated our beautiful cows. They were fed all day by many guests which is a dream come true for them
07.01.2022 Kanay and Nandi are good friends, except for when I pat Nandi, then Kanay gets jealous and pushes him out of the way
06.01.2022 A few of our beautiful cows. It’s hard to get photos of these girls, because they are so attention seeking, as soon as you get close they don’t want to stand for photos - they want pats!
04.01.2022 Another one of our babies that is growing up way too fast. It’s been raining a lot on the farm so the cows have been spending extra time under cover
04.01.2022 Madhumangala, the fluffiest and chubbiest boy on the farm
01.01.2022 Bhima is old so he usually doesn’t walk very fast, but when it comes to food he’s super speedy
01.01.2022 That post Christmas feast nap
