05.01.2022 Please see below. If anyone knows anything, please reach out to them. Posted on behalf of Denise Spalding of Newcastle Potters: Newcastle Studio Potters Incorporated has been part of the Cooks Hill community for 52 years.... On Wednesday August 19, two ladies were unpacking boxes of unfired pottery from their cars and the boxes were being carried into the building at 57 Bull Street. Three lidded boxes were left at the entrance gate while one lady relocated her car and the other lady carried a box inside. The lady relocating her car had a disable sticker and had parked in the driveway to unpack as she was not able to carry the boxes a distance. She parked three houses away and both ladies returned to move the remaining boxes. The boxes were found to have had the lids removed and the contents had been smashed. This act of vandalism occurred between 10.15 and 10.20 am on Wednesday August 19. The only person seen on the footpath was a young man pushing a baby girl in a stroller. An Intentional Damage Report has been lodged with NSW Police Force. If any resident has information to share it would be appreciated (either post in comments or message Michele Hartnett)
