08.01.2022 After an amazing trip to Japan where we embraced the Japanese culture with beautiful food, mountains, ancient trails, shrines, gardens, temples, castles and the most beautiful scenery and hospitality. We have found the Japanese to be beautiful people with beautiful values and traditions. This trip to Japan has been a goal of mine for the past 9 years. When I first heard about this beautiful pilgrimage trail called Kumano Kodo with 99 temples and shrines along the way I have... been wanting to plan a trip around it. I decided that because my birthday was in March which is around the cherry blossum season that I would wait and have a special celebration to myself for my 60th birthday. Reluctantly!! and with a bit of encouragement (nagging) Mario graciously agreed to join me (which I knew he would). When you are determine to do something then you will always find a way. We arrived home yesterday very enriched from the experience Only home for a few hours and a sleep we have now arrived in Sydney for FILEX. Never a dull moment. I love travelling so much. I love my life. I am blessed to have the opportunity to have it all. I have a beautiful family and extended family. My 3 gorgeous daughters have their lives sorted and I am blessed to be included in their lives and share beautiful relationships with them all. I have a wonderful supporting husband in Mario who will do most things for me and we hace just celebrated 43 years together. We have downsized so that there is not much responsibility with up and going away for a few weeks. My work is amazing because I can make my own hours and I love working with my clients and have been enjoying my work for the past 25 years. I have so many opportunities coming my way to work with lots of people of different ages and abilities and experience and I love sharing my passion. I feel grateful everyday for my life and almost 1 month post turning 60 I don't feel any different. Not sure when it is supposed to hit me. Haha

Feet do so much work for us and if you are going from winter to summer for your holidays, this can be a huge shock for your feet. Closed up in shoes during winter and then all of a sudden in thongs or sandles or on sand in bare feet.... Give them some attention before you leave. A beautiful pedicure and a polish and get them ready to be exposed!!
