24.01.2022 This image is from my last photoshoot with The Australian Natural Soap Company It was a big day with two models and a dog. I loved every minute of it, but mostly I love their products - sulfate free, cruelty free, vegan and palm oil free and all soaps and gift sets come packaged in biodegradable and compostable packaging. Plus 3% of all online sales are donated to the Orangutan Project. I'm all about working with clients leading the way to a more sustainable future. 21.01.2022 Well, the world has changed and so has doing business but one thing that hasnt changed for me is my love of landscape photography. . If youve followed me for a while youll know I have a love of nature and the outdoors. Ive been selling my artwork when asked but havent had the time to set up my online shop so now with this lockdown thats my goal and Im nearly ready to go! . Ive got just one thing left to do and would like your thoughts.... . One of the first things parents can do to help themselves, says every mental health expert Womens Agenda spoke to, is lower the bar. And then lower the bar even further. Good enough, or even slightly crap and thats okay, should be the new pandemic parenting mantra.

19.01.2022 Being stuck at home brings the urge for warming comfort foods and smells from childhood so while my husband (from England) is baking sourdough and custard tarts Im making Chinese tea eggs and congee. Loving having those smells from home in the house. Now do I try 1000 year old eggs next? Hope I can keep that going when life speeds up again so my kids can remember those smells with warmth and fondness too. They loved helping me tap the eggs to make the cracks too. Best of ...all I got to share the love and drop some off to a friend who just had a baby. 18.01.2022 Ever tried Chinese Medicine for any of your health issues? I highly recommend it. It's helped me where when others couldn't. If you're looking to try it check out Dr Anna Pino Natural Harmony Traditional Chinese Medicine - she's amazing. You'll feel calmer just talking to her - before she even treats you for anything! When researcher, Dr Zali Yager, suggested I write it, to say I was a bit nervous would be an understatement. This really tested my vulnerability, but I wanted to be honest. Its my birthday today and I wish I could get out for a hike and hug both people and trees but alas its not to be. I am looking forward to cake and hugs with my family though - the most important hugs.
15.01.2022 Double happiness! Today is a day to celebrate. It’s been a long haul for all of us in Melbourne with 8 months of lockdown and today it’s been lifted! We are no longer in a state of emergency in Victoria. We can go visit friends on the other side of the city, go camping and get back to a semi normal life. We did it. Over a week with 0 new cases. Congratulations, Melbourne! And here’s to the first female VP in the white house!!! Such a wonderful way to wake up today.

13.01.2022 Some days are bad days. . This lockdown is not the like the other - its more lonely. Last time we were all in this together walking around with the kids searching for rainbows and teddy bears. We were all doing our part to keep the Coronavirus at bay and join are New Zealand neighbours. We could have our own little bubble and travel back and forth. I was secretly planning our NZ holiday. . This time were stuck, not knowing when this will end. We all miss our connections out...side of the screen in front of us. Were left with our own thoughts - present and past to reflect both good and bad. Ive had some bad days and thats ok. Were all going to have days like that. . Reach out to friends or if you need to find a psychologist or counsellor. A lot of them will have a quick chat with you before you book an appointment. Im sure Ill be back shooting again before you know it though. 10.01.2022 You may or may not know that Im biracial, half Chinese half white. I stumbled across this video the other day and it really struck a cord with me. People like me who totally get it. Growing up people would tell me its the best of both worlds but I can tell you growing up its not the best of both worlds cause you just felt like you werent a part of any world.... That completely nailed it for me. Not sure if there are any other biracial humans following here but if so would love a hello from you and to know if this video resonates too!

Wendy Stiles, resident of Yarraville, closet outdoor adventure enthusiast, business owner of Wendy Stiles Photography and Studio Stiles I was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota. My mums originally from Hong Kong, and my dads from North Dakota. They met when my dad was travelling. Two years later she came over and they got married. I am the youngest of four. My half-siblings are much older than me as they are from my mums first ...marriage. The paperwork took a while but they came to the states from HK when I was about 5 years old. They were all 18 and over by then but Mum worried about China eventually taking back HK and wanted her children safe away from that very glad she did. Im grateful for all the support and inspiring women in my life. Thank you ... However, after a bit of research I found this challenge is about so much more. Its about raising awareness for violence against women. It started in Turkey. People in Turkey often see black and white photos of women on the news, they are pictures of women who have been violently murdered. Turkey has one of the highest rates of femicide in the world. The black and white challenge is in response to Pinar Gltekins death. Just one of these many women. I stand with the women in Turkey. 06.01.2022 Childhood had its ups and downs for me. I had a very strained relationship with my parents, which was difficult. Having photos like these though are a beautiful and helpful reminder there were good days. I can still remember us doing that and I loved it. 05.01.2022 This is the last picture my dad saw of me and my boys. When I was told he may not make it through the night I emailed pictures, and a letter to the social worker at the hospital. She ran straight up to his room, and read my last words to him. Doctors used their own messenger accounts if they had to, to make sure we could have one last video call. They were the ones holding his hand for me. Their hearts were breaking for us too. They were simply amazing. If there’s anyone we s...hould be grateful for this year, it’s our healthcare workers. Thank you for everything you’ve done. This Christmas will be hard. I won’t be able to go back to the US because of COVID to be with family or have a service for him until it’s safe to do so. I’ll have a quiet January to come to terms with it all, but after that I will be back at it. I know now more than ever how having pictures of you and your loved ones is priceless. Merry Christmas and hold your family close in whatever way you can this holiday season.

01.01.2022 I was lucky enough to get away the other weekend before cases went up and Melbourne started locking down again. I took this at sunset on a stormy evening that weekend. Its kind of representative of today. There will be lots of stormy days ahead. When it hits try to remember theres beauty in the stormy days too and you may feel lonely and frustrated but youre not alone.
