20.01.2022 This makes me feel soooo sad.

19.01.2022 I have been travelling to Indonesia since the early 80’s and have lost count at how many trips I’ve booked to go to Bali for myself and friends. For first timers it can be a bit daunting, wondering where to stay, what to see, what activities you want to partake in and who will take you around the island safely. Unlike travel agents who might be booking you a holiday to somewhere they have never been; I will be booking you on a holiday with people and places I know first hand.... You will be meeting and possibly staying with my very dear friends! All of whom are able to make sure your Bali experience is a beautiful and safe one. I can book your flights, accommodation and airport transfers, to and from your hotel. I can make appointments for dental work, cosmetic procedures, spa treatments, healers, organise tour guides and knowledgeable, English speaking drivers that I know personally, reputable baby sitters and much more. I want you to love Bali as much as I do. No matter what type of holiday to Bali you wish to plan, rest assured that I will provide all the resources and guidance you need for the perfect trip. I am getting my webpage up and running with more information being added regularly. wendylovesbali.com If you love what you see and would like to help promote my business......... please like my page and share it with your friends. Thank you. Terima Kasih Please click on the link for all of the contact details. You can also use messenger.

16.01.2022 I’m sure we can all relate.

12.01.2022 I know these roads so well I have walked them, what feels like a million times, yet even though I know exactly where I am watching the video, it feels unrecognisable. I actually cried watching this.

10.01.2022 Some of the footage in this video is very confronting, but as an animal lover, I think these people have done an incredible job in providing these elephants with a much better quality of life. Many tourists ask if there are animals parks in Bali to visit that are ethical? Many people also argue that no animal park is ethical. I disagree with that when I see such kindness and when a better quality of health and life is achieved for these animals, it can’t be a bad thing. I met Nigel in the 80’s at his restaurant with his wife Yanie. Who would have thought that 40 years later he would be saving Sumatran Elephants.

09.01.2022 Priceless. How I love the ingenuity. Looks like a rice cooker conversion!

07.01.2022 Hi Bali Lovers and Facebook friends, Everyone has been impacted by COVID 19 in some way and for a lot of people it has been absolutely devastating, financially. My friends in Bali are finding it especially difficult as most rely purely on tourism and therefore have NO money. Many people are donating to get food sent to friends and support warungs making up food parcels. ... A dear friend of mine has asked if I could sell her Bali blessing gifts for her in Australia to help her and several other families get back on their feet. Each piece is blessed in the village and is designed to protect those who wear them. Hence the name...Blessed in Bali. When in Bali you will see most Balinese wear these tri coloured bracelets on their wrists. They are called a tri datu, 3 gods, and also the symbol of birth, life and death. I always have a couple on my wrist so I’m reminded of Bali everyday Please note, I am not doing this for myself in any way. 100% of All proceeds of any purchases will be transferred directly to Bali so you can rest assured that by buying something, you are really giving someone a hands up not just a hand out. Prices are as follows. Packaged as photos show above In silver gift box Blessed in Bali charm gift bracelet with Silver (925) Frangipani or Bali Om $22.00 Brass Frangipani or Bali Om $17.00 Blessed in Bali Buddha necklace Gold Buddha with silver chain. $39.00 Silver Buddha with silver chain $39.00 Silver Buddha charm on string. $22.00 Gold Buddha charm on string. $22.00 Bowie Blessing Black star bracelet. $25.00 I will have to add $9.00 for postage for the bracelets ( Australia post ) but I can fit up to 6/8 items in the one satchel if you purchase with a friend? I can send the Buddha necklaces and bracelets for $2.00 in envelope post as they are flat packed. Direct bank deposit for payment. Please contact me to place an order or if you require more information or photos. Please feel free to share my post with other Bali loving friends. Thank you all

05.01.2022 Ha ha ha. The ingenuity of the Balinese! Looks like they are made of rubber so I don’t know how much air you can breathe It’s good to laugh.

05.01.2022 I sometimes find it’s hard to get my bearings watching these videos of quiet streets and all shops closed. We normally know exactly where we are by landmarks and familiar faces so to not have this feels strange. I wonder what businesses will survive COVID 19?

04.01.2022 This is gorgeous. Made me smile but also made me feel such melancholy As an Australian, living in Victoria, I have no idea when I will get to go back. I can’t even leave my state if I wanted to. I miss not knowing when I will be back. ... I miss counting down the days Mostly, I miss my friends. When will I see you all again? See more

04.01.2022 My dear friend Dianne and her partner David normally live in Bali, so until they can return, they have been helping several really poor and old Balinese people to get food and maintain some sort of dignity. If you would like to contribute in any small way please contact Dianne. Every little bit helps & next she is trying to get enough money together for beds for them both.

02.01.2022 To all of my beautiful Indonesian friends..... Happy 75th Independence Day to you all. Selamat Hari Kemerdekaan

01.01.2022 Silver Stone Banyak Berkah is a small business that started due to the Covid 19 pandemic to help a small village of people situated near Klung Klung to survive through this. Prior to this, the rings were sold privately. I am lucky to have purchased mine years ago in Bali. I have 2 that I wear constantly and always get compliments on how beautiful they are. No 2 are exactly the same, with all stones sourced locally and the silver all worked by hand using traditional methods.... A dear friend of mine thought it would be an ideal way to keep their businesses afloat by offering to have the jewellery made & sent to Australia to sell for them. Hence the start up of Silver Stone Banyak Berkah. Have a look at their page. Like & Share. New pieces are joining the collection all the time but keep in mind, if you want it, buy it. These are not mass produced, but 1 off pieces to treasure, crafted in sterling silver. Your support of any small Balinese business at present is such a blessing.
