15.01.2022 We wish to advise that effective from tomorrow (24.3.2020) we are unable to complete work in existing homes/buildings until further notice due to Corona Virus restrictions and in being classified a non essential service. New build home work is still being completed with compliance to new restrictions. We thank everyone for their support and look forward to it continuing when this is all behind us. We all need to look out for each other and we hope you all keep safe and well...

15.01.2022 Most of us are staying home more this winter dealing with our new & scary Covid19 world. Who would have thought it could happen! However it has so we need to all do our part in reducing the spread by staying home as much as we can... But Are your energy bills through the roof as a result? Do you still shiver and shake with the heater on high? There are small & big things you could do to help...... Small things Open blinds & curtains if the sun is on the windows. Close heavy curtains and blinds as soon as the sun is off them each day. Don't wait until dark. Move heavy furniture away from heat sources so they dont absorb heat or block the transfer of heat through your home. Install & Use ceiling fans on winter settings if you have only one or two heat sources in the home. They help distribute your heat and send it down again from your ceiling. Do you have beautiful wooden or hard cover floors? Consider using some mats for the worst of the winter months to help block the chill. Big things External Shutters Not only provide security but are extremely effective in reducing heat loss through your windows even if you have no wall insulation. Open & Close them with your heavy curtains and blinds Insulation The single most effective energy saving home improvement you can make that will ultimately pay for itself by reducing your bills. Properly installed ceiling insulation can make a huge difference to your home. Already insulated. Still a couple of things to check... If it was installed ten or more years ago does your insulation need a repair or top up to a modern standard? If you have a wooden floor it is some times possible to install insulation underneath to block the ground chill... Have you had your home draft proofed with door, wall vent & chimney seals and exhaust fan covers if applicable installed? 04.01.2022 Heads up everyone. This is my friends dog. Snitzel. Location Merbein. Stolen several weeks ago from in front of the neighbors house when he got out of the gate.... My friends desperately want him back as does his 4 paws sister who is fretting big time. He could be anywhere in Australia so please keep your eyes out for someone suddenly with a new older age dog.
