18.01.2022 Good afternoon. What a day! It was quite unpleasant here yesterday and today but I am still glad I am here and not in Adelaide and further north. Last night we our minimum was 21.3 and today we have reached 41 but now weatherzone says 29.8 feels like 24.7. I am not sure I agree, the sun is hot, the shade is better but it is definitely not 40+ anymore. I took Archie the dog outside as he was getting restless. He lasted about 15 minutes and is now recovering! Our guests were hoping for the cockle train today which was cancelled but it should run tomorrow. Our forecast is 17 tonight and 30 tomorrow.

15.01.2022 We have had a surprising amount of rain so far this year, 70mls. Those who stayed with us over December and January enjoyed the result of the driest and hottest Spring we have had for a long time. Now when we are usually looking very dry it is green and the Easter lillies are out. They and us are so confused!! It looks like May!! Cross fingers that the 40 degree days don't return. have a good weekend. Regards Wendy

12.01.2022 Hi all, No coronavirus here, just a nice clean coronavirus free cottage waiting for guests to arrive. No close neighbours and no facilities to share. Come in the car so no flights, no airports. This weekend we have booked for a few days but after that the rest of March is available. School holidays is booked but availability again after. 01.01.2022 Good Morning. Today is jumper weather as was yesterday. New guest arrivals are hoping for a temperature increase to get the jackets off. We had our annual neighbourhood party last night, outdoors, and need to wrap ourselves in blankets but lots of good fun. 3 days to Christmas, I hope you are ready. Have a great time with family and friends. For the unfortunate folk in and around the fire areas I hope they are able to take the day to enjoy and share in between the hard work of getting their lives back in order.
