22.01.2022 Final Winter Sculling for the year! Mildura and Wentworth taking on the island!

21.01.2022 Today was a special day for Brian Reid. His single scull was officially named after his very supportive and proud grandparents. Brian told us the story of the year he went all the way to the Australian Nationals with his school, and was a member of the Champion Australian Schoolboys 4....50 years on, he was drinking champagne from the trophy he won in 1970. Wentworth District Rowing Club were very proud to be able to mark this special occasion with Brian...thank you, Brian!

18.01.2022 5 WDRC members were meant to be returning from their overseas trip this morning, that included rowing on the canals in France and racing in the FISA World Rowing Masters Championships in Linz, Austria. Even though we couldn’t be there we were still able to participate through a virtual regatta and have more of our members join us. This morning we competed in the regatta with members rowing 1000m. Times have been submitted so we now await our rankings!!! Well done everyone!

01.01.2022 Due to changes in NSW government regulations we have had to make some changes at the gym. There is now a requirement to have a COVID Marshall on the premises ensuring that safety measures are being followed whilst the gym is in use. Bec has volunteered to be our Marshall and will be on duty on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 4-6:30pm and Saturday and Sunday mornings 8-10am. This might be subject to change in the future.
